Wrestler passes Away

Russ Hardman, who wrestled on independents as "Stevie Lee", passed away yesterday a few days after suffering a brain aneurysm.
Hardman had worked for independent shows across the country, including stops in the Nashville area for USA Championship Wrestling where I had a chance to meet him. He was a very talented performer who loved the wrestling business.
The news of his passing comes as a shock to those who knew him. He was a big strong guy who you wouldn't expect something like this to happen to. I've spoken to several local wrestlers in the Nashville area who knew him and they are all stunned and upset to learn of his passing.
