I thought I knew of every death match known to man but then searching for info on Atsushi Onita I found he was in a Jungle Deathmatch. Does anyone know how this death match works?
The main reason I'm asking is because I might create it my GWF fed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

That was an old FMW match against Tiger Jeet Singh from 1992. It was billed as the Ganyrujima Island: Jungle Death Match. It's interesting to watch because it was raining heavily and there was no crowd in attendance. To give you an idea of what the match content was like think of a standard Exploding Barb Wire match under those type of campy conditions. Ripley's Believe It or Not...after the match Onita fell into a lake filled with contaminated water and suffered life threatening internal injuries. As if by miracle he recovered and finished the double shot program with Singh before an actual crowd. The match is widely available. If you want the best quality (including their rematch) I'd recommend the one below: tinyurl.com/82drq Like Watching Paint Dry (who's quite surprised Vince has never 'taped' one of his own WWE style 'Deserted Island Death Match' segments)

I'm making the card but decided not use the jungle deathmatch...instead using the format they used on the IWA King of the Deathmatch...I'll let you know when it's done.
