Former WWE Tag Team Champion Rico Constantino has decided to retire from pro-wrestling. Rico, who was released from the WWE about mid-way through 2004, has decided to pursue a career in law enforcement, which was his profession before he decided to pursue wrestling full-time many year's ago. The decision to retire came after Rico was paid less than what he expected to get for a 17-day run with All Japan Pro-Wrestling.

I still don't get why he was released by WWE. They were pushing him so hard and it seemed to be paying off with his team with Haas.

The company that fired Rhyno for breaking a vase, that fired Matt Hardy for revealing, on HIS website, that he and Lita broke up because she had an affair with Edge. When have they ever made sense?

The company that fired Rhyno for breaking a vase, that fired Matt Hardy for revealing, on HIS website, that he and Lita broke up because she had an affair with Edge. When have they ever made sense? WWE is now and always has been about keeping a good public face. Rhyno supposedly went wild in a hotel lobby and smashed a vase belonging to the hotel. Matt spoke about somethhing that propably should have been kept to a simple "Lita and I broke up", but instead wrote what he did. I do not blame the guy at all, but from a business standpoint that was wrong. Management could have taken care of the situation somehow, but Matt diplayed a public break n the ranks, which could definately hurt profits and cause a huge rift backstage (not that it hasn't). Bottom line is that WWE has most of the cards and get rid of people much easier than they used to, if they are not helping the company trun a profit or could hurt sales. Big Brother is always watching.
