The mission of WrestlingClothesline.com's Independent Wrestling Hall of Fame (WCIWHF)is to maintain organized volunteerism that preserves and promotes the history of independent professional wrestling. Our purpose is to honor and pay tribute to professional wrestlers who have advanced this business in terms of athletics and entertainment.
Starting immediately and continuing through June 30, 2004 visitors to WrestlingClothesline.com are encouraged to send their nominees for our Independent Wrestling Hall of Fame to WresClothesline@aol.com. The only criteria is that a nominated wrestler or promoter have spent a majority of their wrestling careers on the indy scene and have made a positive impact in independent wrestling. Anyone who has worked on the independent wrestling circuit, for an extended period of time, is eligible.

The Selection Process:
1. The WCIWHF Board of Directors will recognize all nominations sent to them at WresClothesline@aol.com or posted on their Message Board by any and all visitors to WrestlingClothesline.com
2. All nominated persons will be included on the official ballot.
3. The ballots shall be sent to the entire Board of Selectors no later than June 30th of this year and the ballots shall
be returned from the Board of Selectors no later than July 31 of this year. Any unreturned ballots shall not be counted if received after the final vote
tabulation occurs.
4. One wrestler from each of the following categories shall be inducted each year:
LADY WRESTLER; PROMOTER; TAG-TEAM; NON-PARTICIPANT, and MANAGER. In addition, two wrestlers will be inducted annually in the PIONEER SINGLES category (those who were forefathers on the indy scene which led to their success in major federations) and three wrestlers in the MODERN ERA SINGLES (those who spent the majority of their careers on the indy scene but never got the big break they deserved) category.
5. A plurality of votes shall determine the inductees.
6. Following final tabulation of votes, the results shall be presented on WrestlingClothesline.com
