Thanks,
All you guys have helped me even if you don't think you have; I've been reading posts and whatnot on this board and I think this game if for me. I'm going to be purchasing the original intro set in a few days, thanks to birthday money. I plan to be a regular here, though I'll be new to this game.
Anything you might want to tell a n00b to this game is welcomed.

Cool man. You won't regret it. I got started with it Fall 2004 and have been enjoying it. When I got the Intro set and played with it for awhile, I knew that this was pretty cool and a decent way to pass the time.
One piece of advice....the game is only as good as your imagination. Sometimes, the dice don't go the way you expected so you then try to come up with a storyline to justify it. (e.g.) you have a huge upset victory....do you play it as a fluke, determine that it was due to outside interference etc....
I'll give an example. I had a battle of the Giants...Massif, a member of the FDF, and Exo-King, one of the villians. The match ended with one move by Massif, and double 1's for Exo-King indicating a pin....basically a match with only one move! I treated this short match by having Exo-King complain that he wasn't ready when the bell rang....you get the idea.

If you can keep in mind the law of "Any Given Sunday", then you'll have no problem with the GWF.
K, that's an interesting way to do it. I usually just had the wrestler who lost complain to the ref about a fast count, or something along those lines.
