Does anyone else on this site feel like the recent wave of absolutely GREAT GWF, CPC and aCe stuff has renewed their interest in COTG? I wont say that I was tired of the product, but I have to admit things were getting a bit stagnant.
Then, all of a sudden, we get 2119, which reset the federation. Tom and the gang follow up with aCe 2119, which is on my list of all-time favorite editions. Top that off with a 2120 set that looks incredible, and it's like the game is brand new all over again.
As hard as Tom (and the entire staff) is working in this era of technology to produce books and cards for a table top game that just keeps delivering, someone's gotta say it; the folks at Filsinger games are doing one incredible job, and if it comes down to eating or buying the next game edition, I guess I'll just be a hungry gamer!!
Tom, you guys deserve praise for the latest efforts. Without having seen much more than three pictures, I know 2120 is going to make the all-time list (Tricks rules and the MASTER RACE kicks . . . tail!), and I can't wait to read DARK MENACE.
If anyone else agrees, please join in and throw the team a litttle praise!!
Tricks ain't for kids no more, baby!!

I definately agree.
I actually believe that I have had more time to mess with my line up due to the year between sets. I have been able to have some real consistency with my angles that I did not have to worry about having changed in a few months.
I never had any doubts about 2119. I missed a few guys that left, but agreed that houskeeping needed to be done.
2120 looks looks to kick things up a notch.

I to have to give thanks to tom for this awsome game. I was into wrestling so much that when I was in school I would put me and my friends in a made up federation and write out storys for the matches. Now tom came up with the GWF and it just blew me away. It got my creative mind flowing once again and I couldn't be more happier. I always look up to guys like tom, cause he show that anyone can be creative and his game give everyone that chance to use their minds to be very creative. Heck, my wife even gets into the game and helps come up with storylines and fueds. So in closeing, Tom I hope you never stop makeing the GWF sets cause it gives everyone here a chance to be as creative as they can. It got people makeing wrestlers of themselfs and some other races and creatures. I know people don't like bootleg cards in their feds, but the art work deserves great credit and tom made it possible for the bootlegers to be creative. So Tom keep the faith and never stop makeing the sets cause you encourage us all to be creative.

I definately agree will this post. I lost a little interest for a while and actually stopped buying game editions for a couple of years. 2119 and 2120 totally renewed my interest and 2121 has been the hottest year in my fed since 2113. I can't wait for the new CPC set in Nov. and the new aCe set to come out as well. Hats off to all at Fed HQ.

I agree, it's going great right now; new beginnings really shook thing up, and made a great product even better.

Very true on all accounts.
Tom said that writing 2119 as the new "jumping on point" helped revive his enthusiasm for writing COTG and it shows.
Each game edition since has been completely awesome!

I really like the fact that the games are so good right now. A large chunk of that is that there are three great writers contributing to three different brands of COTG fun. What makes it cool is that when creative people tend to have products come out side by side, it tends to bring out the best in the other. Not like a competition, but there is definitely a feeling of bringing out your A game when there are multiple products for the fans to choose from.
Tom, Mark & Kris, care to comment or elaborate?

I wholeheartedly agree! It's like the old Marvel Comics bullpen where a lot of creative people were challenging each other to up the ante. People feed off the creative energy of others...I know I do. With Mark and Kris it's great to see the bold creative concepts they've brought forth into the CotGverse. Fed HQ is bounding with energy there's no doubt...and a lot of it is due to our close association with our fan base. The energy spills over from there too.

My enthusiasm for the writing of my co-conspirators (Kris and da Boss) has yet to flag, and I seriously doubt it ever will. I think we all just write what we like and know that the fan base for it will be there if we're just true to what we do.
And here you are!

You'd think a certain Connecticut-based company could say the same thing.

I've been playing for the whole 20 years, but there were times where I'd have several month lapses without rolling the dice....I'd always snatch up the next editions and enjoy them, but I'd definitely have points where other things would take me away from COTG.
But I've definitely been on a lengthy resurgence the past year. I don't think I've had as many cards as this in years. I've been playing a card almost every night with the GWF....and sprinkling in CPC and aCe was well.
I've never "lost interest" by any stretch, but I can 100% agree that the COTG universe now is stronger than ever. New Beginning was a brilliant idea to focus the GWF, for one. And Mark and Kris definitely are keeping the two "other feds" on the same quality tier as the big daddy.
All around awesome job.
