I've noticed alot on the forum that alot of people have alot of different opinios on the WWE. Some say the shticks are ok, others would rather see quality matches, some focus on ratings, and some even focus on the gossip.
But, mostly, people focus on the bad things in the WWE, and nitpick it apart. I don't know why so manym people are dissing the WWE. Yes, some angles and title shots are a little weak, but this isn't Champions of the Galaxy. These are real people who really get hurt, and we are a real audience, who might not take what a writer might think an excellent angle.
Also, if you notice, RAW has been able to incorpaorate alittle bit for every type of fan. They've had dramatic-wishy washy, TandN angles, as well as some really good matches. It just fluctuates from week to week. What everyone also has to remember is RAW is a weekly show, which main purpose is to build to the big events, the PPV's. And the PPV's usually tend to impress.
On the topic of Smackdown!, it is the WWE's attempt to reach a younger audience. It really is almost like old time wrestling, with super good guys, and satan incarnate bad guys. Also, it's more of a staging ground to get the lesser wrestlers air time. That's why RAW pretty much owns SPIKE TV and Smackdown! is just another timeslot.
It's a different wrestling world out there, folks. What was once the cardinal sin of coming out of character is now a commonality. TandA attracts much more than it use to. And in a world where nothing can be percieved as black and white anymore, it's hard to keep one of the staples of that belief intact without a little evolution. WWE is pretty much the best product there is, and if you really can't stand it, TNA is climbing up in the rankings. PEACE!
