I started a thread like this once on the other board and thought I'd ask people here who has the most successful finisher in thier LOW fed. For me it would be Frank Gotch and his toehold. In my current fed its accounted for 12 out of his 15 victories. Its just not that he wins using this move its the fact its almost a guaranteed win whenever I roll it

Before he vacated my fed, Ed Lewis had the most lethal finisher. As soon as he gained level 3 offense, noone could escape the headlock! It's what made him champ.

Seems like with Mil whenever I got on level 3 the would fall to one of his finishes.

I haven't quite got back into my fed yet, I was sent some bootlegs by Chad and I've done a kind of a 'tour' as I don't use bootlegs officially and Gotch has headlined and defeated everyone he has faced and each time he ended his match with the GOTCH TOEHOLD. I've always thought it's neat that he has that Add 1 move to soften his opponents up for his finisher. However I have to say that in my official LWF fed it's been Buddy Rogers FIGUREFOUR GRAPEVINE that has been the most successful and the most consistent, he's the current LWF Champ and he has been more consistent that Gotch. Having said all this even though I have all the sets my fed consists of just the first 2, my aim was to add guys in order of the sets they came but I'm just going to put the guys I think would make the best storylines when I start up soon. Talking of Gotch, the older wrestlers are my favs, I can't wait to introduce Hack into the LWF, I think that would make a hell of a fued. I might also have to start another Legends fed and maybe call it Classic Wrestling Alliance (CWA) as there are just too many wrestlers now.

The Rogers has been the best overall me for so far.He held the title for most of the year until losing it recently to Frank Gotch.

Double finishers seem to get the job done in my fed, it's what made Nick Bockwinkel my current champ and led to Mil Mascaras long time reign.

I think I posted this on the other board but for me the Doomsday Device is the most dominant finisher in LOW.

Savage-T's VERTIBREAKER finishes all opponents* *that weigh less than 240 lbs. LOL Savage T lost to George South on the last card I held... I do plan on having a rematch at some time. Love the Endgame pic btw But back on topic... the most successful finisher would be Gotch's ...once he locks it on it usually ends the match... Tag Team would be the Doomsday Device...

When I first started playing legends I thought that Snuka's superfly leap, Ox Baker's heart punch or Strangler Lewis with his 3 finishers would really be a factor but it never turned out that way for me

The Road Warriors win a lot with the Doomsday Device for me, but it's funny because it usually takes them a few tries to win with it. The opponent's partner will either make a Pin Save, or the manager will interfere, or the guy gets a high roll to kick out of the pin attempt. For a move that was probably never kicked out of in "real" wrestling, it sure takes a few tries in LOW. Even though Strangler's currently my USWA champ, he has some matches where he has the worst luck, when he gets on Level 3 Offense. He's got a 50% chance of hitting the Strangler's Headlock, but he'll roll a "1" or "2"! With guys in the GWF with triple finishers, like Chaos, Archon, Cyclopes, and others, once they got to Level 3, it usually wasn't too long until they got the win.

When I first started playing legends I thought that Snuka's superfly leap, Ox Baker's heart punch or Strangler Lewis with his 3 finishers would really be a factor but it never turned out that way for me Of the 3 finishers you mentioned, Baker's HEART PUNCH has probably been the most effective for me. But Lewis is relatively new in my fed so maybe that will change later on. As for Snuka's SUPERFLY LEAP, sometimes it wins him matches in my fed. But sometimes it actually causes him to lose matches because I roll 6 it seems way too much on that move. For example, when I had Snuka feuding with Gorgeous George, there were at least a couple of times when Snuka tried his SUPERFLY LEAP only to roll a 6 and crash to the mat with George (now suddenly on L3O according to the rule for that move) immediately using his SPINNING TOE HOLD for a victory out of nowhere. Bit overall, Buddy Rogers' FIGURE FOUR GRAPEVINE has been the most successful finisher in my LOW fed.

Antonino Rocca's Argentinian Backbreaker has been really effective for me in my fed. By the time he hits it, the opp usualy has a few tokens already and it's lights out!
Liger's finisher chart has been super effective for my fed as well, when he hits a fisherman buster on a 7-10 roll..it's always a pin

Buddy Rogers "Figure 4 Grapevine" is pretty deadly in my fed.
