Has anyone in their fed have a wrestler that they think is going to be a loser and it turns out he is really hard to defeat? I have Larry Zybsko in my 3 million dollar tournament and he is the Level 1 Champion and he is really hard to take the belt from and I always thought he was a the kind of wrestler that would win every once in while but not like this. Any surprise wrestlers out there?

I have kind of the opposite effect with Brody. I expected him to run roughshod over everyone, yet he's barely won a match since I restarted my fed. I will say, as far as the loser that turns out to be a hard to beat guy, that's definitely Tom Pritchard for me. He almost won my Junior Title tournament.

Playboy Buddy Rose had an awesome run through my first LOW fed.
Equally surprising, the first-ever singles tournament I conducted was won by Stan Lane.

Buddy Rose has knocked off a lot of guys. I'll tell you though Virgil is surprisingly tough and has pulled off a few big upsets for me.

Gor. George has been a disappointment to me as has Harley Race. Steve Corino had a nice run for me and Virgil has pulled an upset or two.

Buff Bagwell won both the Tag titles and World title in my fed, during year 1.
This displeased me very much as I can't stand the guy.

Again Buddy Rose has been our biggest surprise, including a full blown feud with Mil Mascaras,.........I also get a lot out of Jim Duggan...he seems to be the master of the mid card feud...

SD Jones...believe it or not he's been doing very well, and has been U.S. Tag champ with Jimmy Snuka

I dunno how hard they weer to defeat over the full course of their runs but Playboy Buddy Rose and King Kong Bundy both had World Title reigns in my fed
SD Jones had a couple of World Tag runs and a decent feud with The Sheik over the US Title
Crusher and DDP also traded World Title reigns.
And Mad Dog Vachon had a cup of coffee with the belt.
Guys that have been a disappointment were Brody (big time!) and Inoki
In the tag ranks the Road Warriors and Valiants haven't been great.

Jimmy Snuka has been unbeatable in my current fed. He took the championship off of Nick Bockwinkel and has been my world champion for almost a full year now. He's defended regularly against Ted DiBiase, Strangler Lewis and Bruiser Brody.
But everyone he goes up against comes out looking like a jobber.
Weird because for the first three years of my fed he was a midcarder at best and spent most of his time floundering on the tag-team circuit.

In my LOW fed major League Wrestling (MLW), I think the biggest surprise hasn't been one wrestler by himself but instead two wrestlers (Brutus Beefcake and Buff Bagwell) together as a tag team.
In July in the first year of my fed, Beefcake and Bagwell won my MLW Tag Team Championship and managed to retain their championship for 4 months until my Cyber Sunday PPV when they lost their belts not in a regular match but instead in a tag team turmoil match.

I just got an another upset that I didn't see coming(Rotten dice) in my level three part ofthe three million dollar tornament Danny Doring just upset killer Kowalski to take the championship. I as a promoter was surprised and as a fans was shocked. I didn not think at all that doring could beat Kowalski and now I am scrabbling for a interesting storyline to cover it.

Antonio Inoki, Strangler Lewis, the Mongols all have been disappointments for me. The Sandman has been a consistent success and held my Intercontinental (#2) belt for a long time before dropping it to The Iron Sheik at my 100th main event.
Inoki, Lewis and the Mongols just could never seem to get untracked. I'm disappointed that the Mongols pinfall numbers were 3 and 4 respectively.

Rick Rude. Rude can't buy a singles win in my fed, but is doing well taging with Curt Henning. On the other hand, Animal has been doing great in singles action.

Dont even start with Lewis.
Strangler is horrible for me ( 1-10 ) as I had him chase champion Bockwinkle in a feud. Strangler is 0-4 vs. Bockwinkle and I shoved him back down to mid card status.

The Million Dollar man Ted Dibase has won my LWF title and has had it ever since. Out of all the people in the 2 sets I have I didn't expect a long reign from the million dollar man.

DiBiase was a surpise for me as well when I first started my LOW fed in 2003, he was the first World Champion and held the title for 10 months real time before Harley Race finally managed to wrest the title away

I am curious about which DiBiase card people are useing. The Million dollar card or the black glove card. I like the Black glove card and he is starting to do some good things for me an my fed. I still can't believe that danny Doring is my Level three champion. Does anyone else have sucess with Danny Doring or is it just my luck.
