I met with Bret HArt last night and brought up the COTG Legends and he seemed intrested but he wanted to know a whole lot more plus I think he wants some monetary trade for his likeness and name since he owns them both. And he still looks like he could kick some serious ass if he wanted to.

Very cool....not sure if you've met him before or how many times, but that's quite an honor. He being in Legends would be about the coolest acquisition to date. I'd love to see it.

It would certainly give some validity to the modern wrestling fan as to the term of Legend. I love the game, but its hard for me to see most of these guys as World champ, because I wasn't around in their hayday. I, as well as some others, I'm sure, grew up watching the Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Steve Austin, Rock transitions. When I think wrestling, these are the first names that jump out of my mouth. Of course, I as an avid wrestling fan appreciate the history and lineage and actually know Gotch, Hackenschmidt, and Lewis before they had cards. Still this would excite the younger fan to no end.

I think this was brought up once before when a Ric Flair possibility was floating out there, but I'd be willing to pay the normal set price just for a Bret card.
I agree with JMello about the validity factor for modern wrestling fans.
Hope the deal can get done somehow. Offer to put him on the box! :-)

Bret and Owen would be awesome additions. I wouldn;t mind seeing Stu and the other Hart brothers as well.
Then all we'd need is Makhan Singh and Bad News Allen Coage to get some Stampede action going!

and then have it include

Davey Boy
Dynamite
Neidhart
Stu Hart
I'd pay $25 easy for that set

Bret is my All Time favorite wrestler hands down! Getting him into legends would be a dream come true. One of these days its got too happen!
(Getting more Stampede boys would be awesome too!)
