Just a quick question wondering how you guys handle post match fighting/attacks. Do you only assume there is action afterwards on rolls of doubles or do you create scenarios regardless what the final roll of the match is?
Thanks in advance. Slymm

I use a mixture of both. Doubles usually results in something i.e. New feud, attack after match, run in, promo, etc
Also if there is a guy who needs that push or who is on fire that needs something to get him going
Also I do something if there are some people who I think can have a good feud. I have had a lot of low-card feuds be larger than main eventers case in point my Sandman-Buddy Rose Feud.

90% of the time, I will try and start something if the match ends in doubles. Usually I will roll again and if I get ANOTHER doubles, I'll make it an injury, piledriver on the concrete, something like that.
If a guy loses and needs to get his heat back I may have him attack the opponent after the match just to get the last shot in and try and keep them strong. If it's a face, they will do something like dropkick the heel out of the ring instead, just to keep the fans happy.

I , to use the doubles . I work out sneak attack angles before I use them for all my feds (COTG/Legends\Bootlegs) . I just feel in the storyline with victim and aggressor . Put them in a jar/small tub of about 10 differnt ones . Then when an attack happens , just pull one out . Feel in the wrestlers names for victim & aggressor .

I use the Bill Apter card first, and if a feud arises from that, I use the feud table.

I start something when a match BEGINS with doubles on the opening initiative roll. I have a specific chart- it could be Outside Activity (hiring/firing manager, etc), Pre-Match Attack, During the Match event, or Post-Match event, including a brawl.
I also have tables for brawling after a match ends in DQ or countout.

Oh yeah, when I first roll to see who starts on offense, if it comes up doubles twice in a row, I use the Capetta card

Oh yeah, when I first roll to see who starts on offense, if it comes up doubles twice in a row, I use the Capetta card How do you usually determine initiative. I usually roll the dice and assign the red die to the heel and the blue to the face. The one who has the best defensive roll on LV1D starts on L1O. For instance Ted Dibiase rolls hurt-2 and Steve Williams rolls DR.DEATH-2, Williams begins the match on L1 offense.

The red die represents player 1 (on the left) and blue is player 2 (on the right)
So if it's Dibiase vs. Williams with the cards spread out left to right....
Red die = 3 Blue = 5
Williams starts on level 1 offense
I always rolls both dice even though the red one is the only one that "counts" for most of the game

Thanks at is similar to my system, but roll Capetta if the wrestlers keep getting the same initiative on 2 or 3 straight rolls.

To make things interesting if the card is a little boring I will get stuff happening such as outside interference or fighting out of the ring or run ins or what have you, but I let the fued chart happen only when it is a roll of doubles and it is in a feud match. It just seeems that when I tried to start alot of stuff up using the feud chart I had half to three quarters of the rooster injured and that really sucked so I tone down on injuries if I can help it.

The tables are now online at the COTGLEGENDS yahoo group: tinyurl.com/278qucIf you need them sent to you directly, send me a PM with your e-mail address. I am always open to ideas to improve the charts, so let me know if you have any new concepts! Enjoy!
