Hi!
Although I don't yet own any LoW editions, I fully plan to get into LoW once I've caught up on some of my (much behind) CotG editions.
So, really, my first question is: I know CotG and LoW use the same rules, no confusion there. But I understand LoW has some extras such as a double-team chart?
Also, does a character's weight actually have anything to do with the game (other than flavor)? I seem to remember reading something regarding character weight on the forum, but it could have been a house rule somewhere.
Any other differences? Of course, none of these questions have good or bad answers for me - I'm just curious! ;D

But I understand LoW has some extras such as a double-team chart? At the moment, there is only one Double Team Chart available. It was released probably about 10 years ago as part of COTG. I think it's still available at on the online store. As you said, the rules for LOW and COTG are the same. Statistically the LOW cards are probably weaker than the COTG ones. But the LOW cards are set-up as if they are only competing against other LOW cards. I hope that makes sense. Hope I answered your question.

With the weight, some of the Junior Heavyweights have modified stats in bold which are only to be used against fellow Junior Heavyweights. This is to reflect their career dominace in that weight category. It's very cleverly done IMO.
