I was just pondering the following: Since (apparently/allegedly) J.J. Dillon has signed to be in the game, and since Ric and Arn likely won't be in anytime soon, how many Horsemen members would it take to be in the game for you to have a Four Horsemen faction in your fed (if you don't already have one using other wrestlers or bootlegs)? Would Tully and, say, Barry be enough to start one (and add a wrestler or two outside of the Horsemen roster)? Need Lex? Ole? Or would you hold out for Paul Roma and Sid? If it was just Tully, I think I'd have J.J. manage him (as in real life), but if Barry or Ole was added, then I'd have to think about a Horsemen group with maybe Buddy Rogers or someone else. I keep bootlegs to a limited role in my fed, and would not likely be bringing them in just to have a "true" Horsemen group. Let's discuss ...

I've seen some feds already using the Horsemen with "Nature Boy" Buddy Rogers at the helm.
Me personally, I would have to have at least 2 of the good Horsemen. Tully and Barry would be good. Then add the superstar of the group and a tag partner for Tully or Barry, depending on which one I wanted in tag.
I don't like using bootlegs either but if I were to use one it would be a "Nature Boy" Ric Flair that I made.

I would have to have official Ric and Arn cards to do a horsemen stable. I have considered doing the Extreme Horsemen with Steve Corino as the front runner. If I were to get an official Horsemen then they would probably join that stable until Ric and Arn are in.

In my LOW fed Major League Wrestling (MLW), I use the Four Horsemen even though none of the real members have signed with LOW.
Instead I use official LOW wrestlers as part of the Four Horsemen.
I know it is not the same thing. But what is wrong with me paying homage to one of my favorite factions with only using official LOW cards?
I don't think anything is wrong with that at all.

Definitely nothing wrong with paying homage to the Horsemen by having a faction named after them with no original memebers.
I also have the Extreme Horsemen in one of my feds, ECW actually with Steve Corino leading the pack with Chris Candido and Justin Credible as the tag team. Soon to be a 4th member when I can play again.

I would need Flair i the offical form to do the horseman. To me if Tully signed I would use JJ to manage him as they were always one of my favorite pairings.

Start your own Four Horsemen using ones that weren't in it . Then IF you get enough , that were in the Four Horsemen . Start a feud ?

I would die if Barry Windham got signed. One of my all time faves.

Strictly speaking, we have one Horseman already in the game. . . Henning. I'd love to see Barry or Lex and Tully added to the game, but I don't hold my breath.

Ouch! Hennig as a Horseman still sticks in my craw to this day!
I never really got on board with Luger as a Horseman. In my mind, the only TRUE "Horsemen" would include Flair, Arn, Tully, Ole and Barry as well as JJ. Beyond that, the rest were just posers.
If pressed, I could accept Benoit and Malenko as two tremendous performers, and perhaps Pillman as a dynamic personality, but even this collection of the "best of the rest" falls short of the original.

I was excited about Henning joining the Horsemen when it happened, but saw the heel turn coming a mile away.
I agree that Flair, Arn, Tully, Ole, Barry, and JJ are the real Horsemen. Benoit, Malenko, Pillman, Sting, Luger, Henning, and even Sid, while all adding something to the group, never really belonged. . . We simply will not discuss Roma and Mongo.
There's something to be said for the Evolution model. That is to say, a group that is evocative of the horsemen, but not actually saddled (no pun intended) with the name and legacy. That's what I'm using in my LOW fed with the Minnesota Reapers, Bockwinkle, Rude, and the Hennings.

I always loved Benoit as a Horsman. In my opinion he just always fit what they were about. I also liked Malenko as well. If they could have have someone besides Mongo though.

I thought that the biggest misfit in The Horsemen was Sting. He was simply too big a name. I always got the impression that Ric Flair was the leader and the others were there to just big him up.

I have a Horsemen-ish stable called the elite. Buddy Rogers is in the Ric Flair role, Bob Orton in the Arn Anderson position, and Steve Williams & Ted DiBiase as the tag team.
