SPOILERS
I received my copy of the newest issue of The Promoter today.
On page 2 there is a new section written by Todd called In The Works which is about Filsinger Games projects that are currently being worked on. About Legends of the Future, Todd wrote there will be some names revealed in the January edition of The Promoter and that the set will be released in early 2008.
In the Legendary Wrap Up Section of The Promoter, Tom also mentions Legends of the Future and says that Legends will be coming to COTGonline soon thanks to the efforts of Kris Osk and others including Ty States. Also on Page 2 in the Dirt Sheet section, Kris Osk says that Legends of Wrestling will be online by early 2008.

The GWF Promoter and the Indy Circuit Pulse Magazine will have combined coverage on the announcement of names in their respective January issues.
That issue of ICP will feature a card for XJam Commissioner Charlie Cox...the first Legends of Wrestling commissioner. Charlie, who writes for the mag, will be promoting the guys in this set.

A Chikara representative in the Legends of the Future set would make my day.

cough*Mike Quackenbush*cough I would love to see Jigsaw, Delirious, Larry Sweeney and Hallowicked as well. I could go on and on about indy guys I would love to see in the sets or in the magazine but the set is only 12 cards (I think) and we only get 1 card per issue of ICP. Well, what the heck, I will go ahead and list a few. Iceberg Arya Daivari Heartbreak Express Carnage Crew Ariel Masada Justice (retired) Erick Stevens Karl Anderson Necro Butcher Mana The New Vachons Horace the Psychopath (see any pattern here?) Nigel McGuinness Kory Chavis Austin Aries B-Boy Daizee Haze Reckless Youth Tyler Black Well that is enough for now. I like lists. Hopefully a couple of them are signed. I am really looking forward to this set.

Even if they're jobbers or lower card wrestlers, I'd be happy with some pure wrestlers in the set.
Take care,
Jay

A Chikara representative in the Legends of the Future set would make my day. Anyone you have in mind? For an established wrestler, definately Mike Quackenbush. I think he writes an article for Indy Circuit Pulse magazine so that's how I got the thought that he could wind up in it. The problem is he has so many different moves it would be difficult to try and make a balance, especially since he debuted the CHIKARA Special recently. The list for other Chikara entries is big. There's Jigsaw, Hallowicked, Larry Sweeney, Eddie Kingston, UltraMantis Black, Icarus, Gran Akuma, Shane Storm, The Colony and so on. But the one I would love to see most is Hydra!

Very exciting news. I thought that this would be a way to go. I would think that most of the Indy guys would be happy to get themselves publicity and who knows some of them may be big in the future.
I guess I'll have to reboot my INDY Fed too.
