I know I'm notorious for criticizing the card art but I'm seriously wondering if the wrong reference was used to draw King Kong Mosca. He looks way too much like Bruiser Bob Sweetan other than Mosca. Compare and contrast, I could be way off but I don't think so. Bob Sweetan Angelo Mosca

I'd really like o see the reference picture Sonny "Krillin" used to draw Mosca.

As I noted in some other thread, the Mosca photo was a black & white 8x10 that they used to sell at the house shows. It is Mosca - not Sweetan.
I'd scan the photo and post it, but (1) I don't know how and (2) I still haven't received the original back from Sonny. Maybe the $1.50 postage from Texas blew his budget.

Ok, I believe you. then the only thing I'm left with is, the card art sucks. It's my least favorite of the set and he was one of the guys I was most looking forward to. DAMN! Can't push a guy with bad art, it's a Predator Promotion rule.

Can't push a guy with bad art, it's a Predator Promotion rule. Man, Kevin, you are sounding too much like current day WWE--where they only push people who "look good".

Do you honestly like the card art for Mosca, Cory? The above pic is Mosca's best ( which isn't saying much ). It doesn't look like him is the main thing. Ok, I'm through sorry Tim and all you guys. THE SET ROCKS THOUGH, absolutely great. Mosca's pic is my ONLY complaint. ~KB~

Unfortunately the pics you're posting aren't showing up on my computer for some reason, so I can't honestly compare. Mosca's drawing isn't my favorite, but I think it's far from the worst ever. I do honestly understand what you mean about making it hard to push someone in your fed if you don't like that drawing. That hasn't happened for me so much in Legends, I guess because if I don't like a drawing, I know what the guy really looks like. But with COTG it happened a lot where I didn't like a drawing and it made it hard to get into the character. I just had to pick on you, Kevin, at least once this week.

I have to admit, I'm funny when it comes to card art. I cannot use a bootleg card unless the wrestler's face is in the top left hand corner!
But all card art is good as far as I'm concerned.

I don't have a problem with the Mosca art but I agree with Butcher that I can't push a guy with bad art. That's why I never get fully behind Buddy Rogers even though he's the Thantos of the initial LWF set.

I remember seeing Mosca in the early 80's at the Capital Centre in Landover, MD and the card art depicts his likeness very accurately IMO.
As a matter of fact, for whatever reason, it's one of my favorite drawings in the set.

I like Mosca's art work as well and the Big Nasty Elbow Drop is one of my favorite moves in the game.
