I like how over at the Deuce chat board they have the DWA. I think it's a great idea. I'd love to join, but I'm too much of a purist and only like "official" cards and don't play with bootlegs. I'd still love to play some sort of "territory" type idea. I've divided my cards up into territories, but I just don't have the time to play so many feds.
I was wondering if there were fellow prooters out there who'd like to link up feds in sort of some ad-hoc territory system only using "official" LOW guys. Then when guys travel to other "territories" you could just roll out the matches yourself using the actual cards.
The only 'downside' I can see is that I'd love to use my established LWF fed that I'm 2 years into. I'm about to start my third year so if we were going to negotiate rosters, now would be fun to do it.
Anyway, anyone interested in this? I think it'd be fun because I could focus on my fed, but every now and then bring in cards I don't normally use. (I use mainly the guys who've wrestled in the WWF in the 80's.) I also think it'd be fun to create territories out of "official" LOW feds.
We could establish "rules" and a schedule of sorts and then take our top ranked guys, have a tourney and crown our first champ. Anyway, just an idea.

Could be neat, I may be interested though I'd like more info on how things would be done. I probably couldn't commit to more than 1 card a week due to my schedule.

I'm thinking about this idea for my reboot. My packing to move has hindered any progress on it. But I'm using all official cards and just LOW boots (I consider them official since they are created by the same people and it's unlikely we'd ever get them in future sets) I'm trying to do 3 areas and have a set of World champs who travel to each region.
Let me know what you are thinking about and maybe I'll join in and run an area and keep my larger one on hold.

Here's roughly what I was thinking.
- Only use official "from Filsinger Games" cards. No boots.
- Each fed sends, say, their top 4 guys/2 teams to the "national" league. There can be no duplicates here. I don't think we need to be so strict on duplicates in each other's feds, just in the top 4 guys sent to nationals.
- We establish rules that "national" matches are contested under.
- It'd probably be ideal if each promoter had all the official cards so they could roll out matches with other's promoter's guys.
- I don't think we would necessarily need to have strict, once a week rules. Just maybe "due dates". Matches should be rolled out by 'this date'.
- We could have monthly super-cards where hot feuds from each promoter's feds are contested. Perhaps rolled out by other promoters to give an extra spin on things.
I don't know. These are just random thoughts on my ideas. I'd love to hear your thoughts. On the DWA boards over on the Deuce, they said there's only enough "official" cards to make up about 4 territories. But maybe that's a good idea to keep it small. Let's discuss.

I may share booking responsibilities with Mike M on a Northeast Territory.

I'd be in. I'm in Mello's booker challenge right now and when I get a chance I'm playing my Indy fed.
If I'd do this, I'd hold off on my reboot and run an area. Like you said we just need some rules to follow and then a draft.
