I believe it was Mr. Vegas who mentioned we start a thread regarding Pepper Gomez' "stomach" rule.
So I'll start by asking this question. What would the modifier be (if any), when Jimmy Snuka hits the SUPERFLY LEAP on Gomez?
Would Gomez shrug it off and roll on Level 1 Offense or not?

If the roll is (+2 or +4), then assume the SUPERFLY LEAP landed more on his stomach...Gomez takes over. If the roll was (+1,+3 or +5), then assume the impact was to the chest and roll Gomez's PIN appropriately

Yeah, it was me who suggested we get this thread going. Thanks for starting it. I really want to see what people suggest about the moves from LOW wrestlers that won't have an impact on Pepper Gomez due to his stomach. I think the question about Snuka's SUPERFLY LEAP is an excellent question and I thought mft offered a good response.
What other offensive moves from what other LOW wrestlers will result in Pepper Gomez taking over on L1O due to the rule on his card that any moves to his stomach won't hurt him and allow him to gain the offensive?

What about Ox Baker's Heart Punch? Would that count, or does Ox punch too high for the move to be absorbed?
Oh, and what about the bearhug?
Take care,
Jay

While I believe this falls under the "it's up to you, promoter" rule, I would say Superfly Leap and Heart Punch are chest contact, not stomach. Bearhug works the back, so that would work.
Stomach claw and kick to stomach are obviously moves that would be ineffective.

What about the headbutt and figure four?
Okay, just kidding. I can't think of any stomach moves at the moment.
Take care,
Jay

I could see an abdominal stretch falling into this category, as it obviously focuses on the abdominals.
Mr. Vegas has PM'd me about Killer Kowalski (LE version) and his KOWALSKI CLAW. That claw is intended to be done to the face or stomach (up to you, promoter). Since Kowalski and Gomez feuded, I'd say that if Kowalski rolls it, he tries it once on the stomach, but Pepper shrugs it off. If Kowalski would roll again, he would try the face claw instead. Of course, that's up to each promoter, but that's probably what I will do.
If I think of more moves later, I'll post some here.

how about a football tackle to the stomach ? According to Pepper Gomez's card, if the opponent tries any "any move to the stomach" Gomez takes over on Level 1 Offense. So a football tackle to the stomach would be another obvious move that won't work against Pepper Gomez.

IMO, a football tackle would be done more to the chest area. But I could see a spear type of tackle as being done to the stomach. As always, it's up to you, promoter!

Yea this sounds good because I do believe he would not just connect to the chest area but likely the stomach too. Good idea.
