Today I got the newest issue of the ICP magazine in the mail with the new official LOW card for "The Belgian Brawler" Dupae Rupa. Can anyone here describe how his finisher BELGIAN WAFFLE (+1) works?
Usually in the magazine there is a bio of the wrestlers with LOW cards that also explains their finisher but, although I have only looked at the magazine quickly and there is an interview with "The Belgian Brawler," I haven't noticed any description of his finisher.

Yeah, but "The Belgian Brawler" looks like he is going to be a really fun card to use. If anyone knows how the BELGIAN WAFFLE finisher works, please post it in this thread.

I believe it's a top rope legdrop, but I might be mistaken. Todd would know.

I knew that the issue had a feature on the Brawler in there, and Mark didn't ask for a separate bio, so I didn't get the finisher description. But I will email the brawler himself and find out. I believe it may actually be a submission maneuver. Given that we are doing the Legends of the Future set, we are just doing 1 card in the ICP magazine now. It will be available in the FG shop in about a month or so. Going forward we will probably be doing more cards for the guys featured in the magazine. The Legends of the Future set is coming together and the names I hear so far are pretty good for fans of the Indy scene.

Are these cards exclusive to the magazine or will they also be available from Filsinger Games directly?
I have nothing against the magazine, it's actually a great read but I'm not sure I'm gonna re-subscribe when my current subscription runs out

Just so I understand, we will be seeing cards of the guys featured in the magazine as opposed to someone random and we will now only see 1 card per issue. Or is it going to go back to 2 per issue after Legends of the Future is released? When can we expect to start hearing some names or any sort of info on the next set?

There will be one card in the mag now and it will be more than likely a guy featured in the magazine. We'll have a small bio and move information on the new an improved Legends site once that is up. Legends of the Future is slated for a 2008 release. Expect a few names to be announced in the January Promoter and ICP magazines. and who knows, a name may be leaked here before then.

If this is the same Belgian Brawler that is in Derby City Wrestling, then the Belgian Waffle is a punch/forearm/karate chop to the back of the head. Seriously. The opponent is usually bent over, and then the Brawler waffles him.
Now, I have never actually watched any Derby City, but this is what I have heard. I'm pretty sure that it's right.

I'd be surprised if there are multiple Belgian Brawlers. And he does wrestler there. Thanks Mookie!
