Hoa about L.A. Park as one of the Mexican representatives? The "Chairman" of Lucha Libre would be a nice choice, I think.

I definitely wouldn't turn down a L.A. Park card. I just think most would want the "pioneers" of lucha first. I could pretty much take them in any order though.

I would say i'm not a lucha fan to the extent that i'd want a league of them. but, i would like to see some main stream compeditors.

I'm not a huge lucha guy either (says the guy who created Halcon Oro...give me a break, that was when the WCW cruiserweight division was at its peak), but I do like having a Cruiserweight division in LOW and the luchadores would provide that.
The guys I'd like most...
El Santo and El Hijo del Santo, both of whom are probably pipe dreams.
Canek, along with Mil, an honest-to-goodness heavyweight. (Pedantry alert, because that's how I am: the official correct name is "Canek," not "El Canek." Named after a Mayan revolutionary, so "El Canek" is sort of like "The Revere." Even New Japan called the guy El Canek so I'm not faulting anyone.)
Dos Caras. Mil's brother and tag partner. And a great worker himself, with tons of bizarro submission holds and counters.
La Parka/L.A. Park. One of the most purely just-plain-fun wrestlers ever. Absolutely criminal that WCW wasted this guy. And I know I just talked about all the cruisers that could be added and am naming almost nothing but heavyweights, so moving on...
Black Shadow. Gotta have some classic rudos, too, you know.
Los Infernales--MS-1, Pirata Morgan, and Satanico. See above.

I would love to get some of the guys from WCW as well. Guys like Juvi, Hector Garza, Super Calo, Damien, Halloween, and the Villanos. Some Guerreros would be nice as well. You can pretty much go on and on there are so many great luchadores.

All the luchadores mentioned above would be great. I personally would like to see a lucha version of Konnan (masked or unmasked). I've probably mentioned this before in other threads, but for a couple years in the mid-'90s, he was the top draw in Mexico. The biggest difference for a lucha Konnan compared to his official card released in Legends Vintage would mainly be the moveset. And of course we'd have to get the ultimate lucha legend--Super Porky.

I think I saw that Super Porky had a MySpace page.

My hopefuls:
Canada: Hart, Jericho, Bad News Allen...just about anyone from there.
Japan: Masahiro Chono or any grappler.
USA: I'd be happy with another vintage shooter.
Mexico: Gomez or any non-luchadors (that probably nixes the entire roster)
Germany/Croatia: Just about anyone.
LE's: Samoans...even if they're mid-carders, I'd still have fun with them.
As for masked Konnan, I have no problem with just a changed picture and moveset. His card is already fun to play; I just don't like the NWO version Konnan.
Take care,
Jay

Canada - Love Brothers, Chris Jericho, Angelo Mosca, Bret Hart (dreamin) The Love Brothers were billed from Boston, MA (Hartford was later billed from Hartford, CT) even though they were from Canada. Angelo Mosca was billed from Canada (usually Toronto or Hamilton) even though he was from the Boston area. I'm not saying anyone is in or out. Just thought that was an odd coincidence.

What about Brian Pillman? Remember, he got his start in Stampede wrestling in Canads. I would also like to see Vadar, Lance Storm, The British Bulldogs, Ivan Putski, and maybe a Guerrero or 2.

I had thought of Lance Storm as well. If we got Jericho at the same time it would be perfect. Jericho and Storm used to team quite a bit. We would also get the Impact Players.

Oh yes. The Impact players. Imagine we get The Sullivan Brothers. That will be awesome. Or even the Steiners

According to the official site, Legends International is set to be released "this summer." Does that mean it won't be released at Galacticon or directly after for those who can't make it? I was counting down the days until its release, but now I'm wondering if it's going to be later.
Hopefully someone on the inside can shed some light on this for some of us less-than-patient promoters.
Thanks and take care,
Jay
