I read this over at Lords of Pain about LOW's Ted DiBiase:
According to Amazon.com, WWE will be releasing a Ted DiBiase autobiography on June 10, 2008.

I liked his first book but I would imagine this one will not have so much religous context which would be fine with me.

I liked his first book but I would imagine this one will not have so much religous context which would be fine with me. I enjoyed the first book too. It's a good talk about his personal life, struggles, demons, and his becoming a Christian. The biggest criticism of the first book would be the lack of details on big moments in his wrestling career. I'm guessing this second book would go into more detail on that aspect.

I agree totally with Cory views on Ted's 1st book . It was one of the first wrestling autobiographies that I read . I was hoping it would be full of juicy stories etc . But it wasn't sadly .

I think DiBiase's first book was released around '97-98, when he was working in WCW. This was before Mankind, Rock, etc. wrote books and started the "wrestling book boom" and it was normal to reveal inside stories from wrestling past. Perhaps DiBiase didn't feel it right at the time to reveal too much on the wrestling side. And again, I think the emphasis of the book was on his personal struggles in life.

Ted gave me a copy of his book some years back when we worked on a promotion together and he said he was happy with it. Apparently he got a good deal from a publisher and he was trying to get a message out, but like everyone is saying there are more stories from his rich storehouse of experiences that could have gone into it. I look forward to the new one.

Yeah, I'm looking for the gossip and the backstage stuff and not to be "saved" or anything. Hope this one focuses more on wrestling and less on his "message"

He actually did an interview in the last "Wrestler" mag...very good...talked about the good 'ol days, the back stage stuff...if the new book is like this, I will buy it for sure...(after reading a healthy portion in Borders first to make sure I want it...lol...)
