WWE Hall of Famer Nick Bockwinkel is recovering at home after having triple bypass surgery on 11/9. His wife said the surgery was well done, but the aftercare was lacking. Doctors told him to change his diet. He had three arteries clogged and was told without surgery, he was at high risk for a heart attack.

I hope he makes a speedy recovery.
The man will always stand as one of the all-time greats....and one of the coolest heels to ever wrestle.

I also hope for a great recovery for fellow Las Vegas resident Nick Bockwinkel. I'm hoping to meet Bockwinkel and get his autograph at the CAC Convention here next June.

Mr. Bockwinkel is a fine gentleman and one of the top supporters of the Legends game. At one time he wanted to hire our game artists to do some portrait work for the CAC although it never wound up happening. I remember a few years ago showing him that he was ranked #1 in the Promoter and naturally he joked that it must be a mistake but he was actually very pleased. I hope he recovers successfully.

When I first got into Wrestling Nick was AWA champion and just beat Otto Wantz to get his belt back. To give you how long ago that was Hulk Hogan was in the AWA about to recieve shots aginst Zbockwinkle and Heenan was Bockwinkles manager. Get well Nick!!!
