I would absolutely love to have Demolition (my favorite tag team) in the game, but I believe Tom has said before that Bill Eadie owns the Ax gimmick and WWE owns the Smash gimmick thus making it impossible.

WWF does own Smash, but I would think that Tom could be creative with a name for Smash like "Demolition Smash" or Smasher or something like that.
I would completely mark out for Demolition, the British Bulldogs (don't forget Matilda), the Hart Foundation with Jimmy Hart (although I'd imagine it would be tough to get the Hitman) and Arn & Tully.

Let us indeed forget Matilda. Of course by then Dynamite was already falling apart unfortunately.
The Demolition Smash problem. Originally Randy Culley(Moondog Spot IIRC) was Smash. Then the WWF signed Barry Darsow, and dumped Culley replacing him as Smash with Darsow.
Freebirds are my #2 choice after the Bulldogs. Dynamite was an absolute monster before the combination of injuries and addictions ruined him.

I would like to see the Samoans tag team for Lou Albano. Rock and Roll Express, British Bulldogs, Freebirds, and the Hart Foundation would be cool too. Of course Demolition would be absolutely awesome, but I just don't see how.

(2nd) Demolition (I doubt it will ever happen . If Ax & Vince are argueing over who owns the rights)
(1st) one nobody else seems interested in The Nasty Boys (Wrestlemania 7 don't ever forget it)

8-)I don't know if this is possible, maybe Tom could answer, how about Ax and Crush (Adams) as Crush was brought in to make Demolition a 3 man team - and as I remember the story line any 2 of 3 could defend the title.
Also how about Ventura and Adonis OR The Powers of Pain.

The Ultimate Warrior was Rock, but wasn't Sting's name originally Flash when the were called Powerteam? I think he changed it to Sting shortly after arriving in Mid-South/ UWF. The team I would most like to see added would be the Fabulous Freebirds. Gordy and Hayes could go after the Tag belts, and Buddy Jack could go after Sandman at the local watering hole. |
