I didn't notice this until recently when I pitted the Good 'ol Boys against Skyfire. Why does Gordo have an deathjump rating of A? He's about six pounds heavier than Rubicon (whose rating is B), so it doesn't make much sense. For some reason I see Gordo having a B rating at best, if not C.
As far as Superheavyweights with a Deathjump of A go, the only other ones I can find are Zygon, Thraxx and Plethador.

Guess he's got good instincts. ;D Seriously, though. He has to have a C ropes rating, and the card needed to be an improvement over his 2112 card, so that was a relatively unobtrusive way to do it. To everyone but you, of course.

I can see your point; I guess I felt that way because I never saw Gordo's 2112 card (or his 2119 card as Yuri). For the most part I've only been introduced to the recent storylines of the CPC/POW since you started the Zone of Lawlessnes podcasts.

Maybe he's so big he just catches the smaller guys or swats them aside.

Yeah, a Deathjump of A can be acceptable. It's not like it rates how HE deathjumps after all.

Yeah, a Deathjump of A can be acceptable. It's not like it rates how HE deathjumps after all. This sounds similar as to why Yukon Eric in LOW has a ropes rating of A. It is because Yukon Eric would often throw his opponent into the ropes and have them bounce off his chest according to the book for Legends Vintage.
