What are the official belts in the POW?
I know that we have the three weight classes, but what about the change over from the CPC to POW on the wrestling side? Any changes?

While I am unsure of how it may work officially I can tell you what I plan to do. Since I am not a huge MMA fan but still think the idea is cool I will be running a mostly wrestling show with a few differences. The main title is the POW Championship, formerly the CPC Championship. It is open to any male wrestler and can be defended in any style of match. The second title would be the POW Throwdown Title. This replaces the OFC Title and is open to only Heavyweight and Super Heavyweight wrestlers and MUST be defended MMA style. Next is the POW Cruiserweight Title, which works just like the CPC version, only open to cruiserweight wrestlers and may be defended in any style of match. There is the POW Ladies Title, replacing the CPC Ladies Title. This is only open to women (obviously) and may be defended in any style of match. Last there is the POW Tag Team Titles. This used to be the CPC Tag Team Titles, is only available to tag teams and can only be defended in wrestling style matches. Hope that helps out some. And hope that genreates intrest for when the Best Damn CPCPOW Fed PERIOD returns to these boards....
That's right, Vidtek's POW is coming!

Yes, it does sound sweet.
Basically the idea is that the weight class belts would replace the OFC titles, but the wrestling titles would remain intact (if you're using wrestling in your fed and not straight MMA). So lots of belts are possible if you want there to be.

Yes, so in the MMA system, being 'Crusierweight Champion' is really not anymore prestigeous than being"heavyweight Champion", which is unlike prowrestling.

I am going to implement a house rule that fighters that are within five pounds can fight and win titles (with no penalty) in either weightclass. Anything over five will need a 2d6 roll. MMA fighters (and competitors from other disciplines) regularly cut weight to fight in a given weight class (Rich Franlklin reportedly walks around at 215 and fights at 185; Ken Shamrock was in WWE at about 240, and upon his return to the UFC was fighting at 205). So Saboteur, who is listed at 242, would have no problem cutting to sub 240, and Dante would have no problem eating a few extra burgers to go from 238 to 240. A guy who was say 250 would have the given five pounds (245), plus a roll of 2d6 to determine if he cut the weight.(where the die roll would determine the number of pounds cut).
Just an idea.

I'm doing strictly MMA in my fed, and I'm doing a pretty strict enforcement of the weight classes. The only exception is that I've got the Universal Title in my fed, which will basically be an open-weight belt. Each month (my belts will be defended once a month), a wrestler from a certain weight class will get to challenge for the belt, and that weight class will just rotate each month.
