There's a new post at COTGonline with a nice explanation of the MMA style mechanics that will be available through the POW THROWDOWN package. ...you'll also find a sample MMA card back! Click my banner and check it out! ~ :-Xsk

Wow, what an innovative way to do the card. I really like the three seperate levels and can't wait to see the charts and the official rules. My guess is old school UFC style a one night tournament to crown a champion at each weight, then there will be 3 MMA fights and 5 or so wrestling matches each card! Great work fellas, the card really did impress me.

Not as if I needed to be sold anymore...but that would have done it! This comes at a great time...Shylock just won the CPC POW Heavyweight Championship from Zed. Zed wants his rematch at the PPV later this month! What a surprise for Zed when he finds out that the Champion has the choice between a Wrestling defense or a MMA defense! I know which one Shylock is gonna pick! MY GOD....I'M READY TO DO THIS THING!

Seriously, I know a lot of us have tried to come up with a way to mix MMA with the COTG system, and this looks absolutely brilliant. BRILLIANT.

As far as release dates go, we're pretty much just in the proofreading and final tweaking stages, so I know it will be soon. For those who can come to the release party in Pennsylvania this Saturday the 17th, it should be ready by then (fingers crossed!), and then will probably be released to the general population if not that day, then shortly afterward. We've gotta get it up on the catalog and such-like. But rest assured there have been conversations about this over the past week and the wheels are moving at NASCAR speed. I don't control pricing, but there will be ways to order either just the 2122 wrestling cards for those who are caught up and don't need anymore, the New Beginnings-style wrestling set for those who want all the cards (plus some with minor tweaks), and the MMA cards for the 44 active fighters there. You should be able to get various combinations of the above if desired. But that's more for the Online folks to figure out. I just make stuff up, write it down, and hope people like it.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, this set is going to MONUMENTAL and not just another game edition. As far as I'm concerned it can't be released fast enough.
