Today I started my CPC 2109 fed and all of my titles were vacant because all the previous champions (i.e. Paragon, Colossus, Desolation Factor) had to relinquish their championships because they signed exclusive GWF contracts to start 2109.
I decided to have tournaments to determine my new CPC Heavyweight and CPC Tag champions and to have a Tirion Triple Threat match (Cassandra vs Phantasy vs Velar) to determine my new CPC Ladies champion while leaving my CPC InterStellar, CPC Heavy Metal, and CPC Cruiserweight championships vacant for now.
The dice gave me some surprise winners:
CPC HeavyWeight Champion- Jack of Diamonds
CPC Tag Team Champions- The StormTroopers
CPC Ladies Champion- Phantasy

With his old card, Jack is kind of a surprise for champ, but the other two I can see.
I didn't actually do a CPC fed until 2112, so this is interesting to see.

Ok Mark we finally disagree on something ... Jacks last singles card I would say is pretty stacked, easy main eventer and netted two top title reigns for me and if you hadn't downgraded him to tag he probably would have won more. And I didnt mean turning to tag is a downgrade but his stats arent as good.
All of his cards I thought were at least mid card to low main eventer.

I think that Mark was referring to his last GWF card (2103), which wasn't nearly as strong as his 2112 card.

My initial 2109 champs:
CPC Heavyweight: Vector One Interstellar: Colossus (I don't think that he made the trip to Dimension Y, unless my memory's bad- I think that Colby called him back to the CPC when Paragon bolted) CPC Tag Team Titles: Theater of Pain CPC Cruiserweight: Hammer CPC Heavy Metal: Zouave CPC Women's Title: Cassandra

The StormTroopers are one of my favorite teams of all time. I love the dynamic between the agile Hammer and the aging, but strong Powerhouse. I always push them when I play around these years! You should post some results, Mr. Vegas!

Yeah, that's why I was surprised Jack of Diamonds won the tournament because his CPC 2112 is still 3 game years away (I also think Raven's CPC 2112 card looks awesome). I was thinking someone such as Janus, Terminus, Vector One, The Dominator, or Holocaust would win the tournament but instead it turned out to be Jack of Diamonds vs Dynamo in the finals with Jack of Diamonds getting the victory. I was also surprised the StormTroopers won the tag team tournament just because they really struggled in my GWF fed before coming to the CPC. This is actually the first time Hammer has ever held a title for me and I've been using him since he frst entered the GWF back in 2091 as Vlad Hammer. This is also the first time Powerhouse has ever held a title for me since back in 2090 when he was known as Earthquake and along with Massif held my IP Tag Team Championship. I thought a tag team such as The Penthouse Punks or The Troubleshooters would win the tournament but the dice had other ideas.

Jack and Raven of 2112 were intended to be the main event feud, and they held that up, I'd say. Although in my fed, the heavyweight title usually was exchanged more between Raven and Colossus than Jack (although he was in there a few times).

For 2109-11 I just held megatournament years with round robin tournaments in divisions for the "Season" that lead to the top 8 playoff in the post season. What Colby was doing (in my fed) was really trying to create a "sports" underground atomsphere.
I don't have access to my records of those years, but I seem to recall Raven being the man those years. When 2112 hit Raven and Colossus were my main event for years and Jack went on to become the greatest Interstellar champion ever.
