I just two seconds ago finished my most recent CPC supercard, Casualties of War, and I had the most brutal and epic main event for the Heavyweight Title that I can remember in any fed I've run. Zed Marlowe came in as the champ and was going against former champ Shylock in a Gutarr Stick Match, a special match I've just recently begun to pull out again every once in a while.
Shylock's stick broke on about the fifth move of the match, so that kind of set up what followed. By the end, Zed had 9 tokens, Shylock had 6, and if it were in real time, the match probably would have been a good 15-20 minutes long. Shylock did eventually pull it out in the end to reclaim the belt, but I was just imagining the bloody messes these guys were as the battle wore on, and when Zed would roll a 10 to kick out when he was way up in tokens to begin with, I could almost hear the crowd reaction. Just a classic match. The fans left happy, I can tell you that!
Anybody else had these two in combat? They always seem to do great against each other for me, but this one took the cake.
