I'm not caught up with CPC sets, though i do have some of them. I've never played them because I was only in 2099 in regular continuity. But Amazing Mann returning would make a VERY convincing argument for me to catch up and start playing. I'm just sayin'...

I love the enthusiasm the subject's generating for sure, and I think the idea on Mann in the CPC fits. As I said, though, don't look for it in November. Next year, very possibly.

I too would love to see Mann in the CPC. Pendekar, Zed Marlowe and Cypher would have a hard time against him. I think he would be a good fit for the OFC style matches. I know we don't want the CPC to become the WCW 9or worse TNA) by taking all the talent that leaves the other place, but Mann fits the bill better than the rest do.

Yeah but lets face it - if a big name leaves one federeation WHY wouldn't a fed go after them. The Amazing Mann would be a huge big name to go over to CPC.

It only takes one awesome thread like this that everyone is on the same page to be able to appreciate this board.
That said it is awesome to see the man behind the CPC is into this idea. Where the hell else can you have as much influence as a paying customer?

I agree Punisher ... I kind of wonder what the heck Tom is thinking now. "Wow? I come out with this awesome edition with one mistake. Why did I keep this Tanck retard over someone completely Amazing like Amazing Mann?" I'm sorry but I hate Tanck and think he's a waste of space. Mann is ... well ... the Man. I hope Mark can get him in the CPC cause Mann is a much better character then some of these guys out there.

Actually it is a good point. There should be more characters that do "jump" ship every now and then. It gives the continuity more believability that this is a living breathing world.
The only time I've really heard about anything to be said about business decisions when it came to signings was when Paragon came on the scene. More things like that where pastures look greener to certain wrestlers in different avenues would really perk up the business side of the industry.

He was my "greatest Interplanetary Champion of all time". Since "New Beginnings" he has won the IP championship more than anyone else. If Mark decides to bring in the Amazing Mann (I too thought he would have a great feud with Pendekar), he would most likely be the "greatest Interstellar Champion of all time" too. Give Mark time to bring him in. Let's not pull a Zombie Dreadnaught on the Amazing Mann here!  |

Tanck > The Amazing Mann....in my opinion.
Mann was a great wrestler....but a boring personality that never became interesting. Tanck has some life to him, even if he isn't a world beater.

Tanck has recorded one win ever in my federation and was fired very quickly because he has no personality. He reminds me of a drier Dino Brave. I just don't like him, I can't get into his character. Mann on the other hand has an awesome gimmick and a lot of personality. I imagine him something like Harry Houdini always wanting to put a show on for fans. I have to keep him in my GWF as he is a huge part of my fed. Tanck ... tanck on the other hand only gets worse with each card incarnation. Everyone has their own opinions I guess, I just could never get into Tanck and Amazing Mann is one of the greatest creations by Tom EVER.

I have already had him as an OFC guy.
Mann is perfect BJJ guy, really agile and bendy and able to throw on odd submissions like a gogoplata with ease......
