A gogoplata is the perfect move for a guy like him, I agree. Okay so now that he has a finisher for his CPC debut, when do we get the official card? I guess another question is: how do you describe the gogoplata to people who may not have a clue what it is supposed to look like? I have had that difficulty describing judo throws (uchi mata- gaaah!) |

Amazing Mann is one of the greatest creations by Tom EVER. I would disagree with that and in all likihood so would Tom. From what I recall Amazing Mann was a last minute addition to the set, so Strutter wouldn't come in alone. For me he was a good wrestler, but always in the bottom half of my favorites in the GWF his entire run. |

The other Todd is clearly on comment enhancing drugs and his comments get an asterix! Amazing Mann is my hero, I love the whole idea and I actually like the idea of him going to the OFC or facing off against the OFC.

Tanck > The Amazing Mann....in my opinion. Mann was a great wrestler....but a boring personality that never became interesting. Tanck has some life to him, even if he isn't a world beater. AGREED ! Tanck is a two time former Galaxian Hwt. Champion and three time I-P champ. He's absolutely one of my favorites. I think Amazing Man ( though good wrestler ) was boring as hell, he never spoke in my fed NOT ONCE. I for one am glad he's gone but maybe Mark can give him some personality and I might find him interesting. |

Everyone has their own opinions I guess, I just could never get into Tanck and Amazing Mann is one of the greatest creations by Tom EVER. I have to agree here! I don't think The Amazing Mann has ever given me a bad match. He had a great feud with Tauran over the Interplanetary Title in 2120 and went on to capture my Galaxian Championship in 2121. But win or lose, his matches were always enjoyable. |

Two opposing view points here...maybe a poll is in order.
BTW, I do agree that Mark could do something good with Amazing Mann...he does fit the OFC style.

Tanck is a two time IP champ for me, but has never had a successfull title defense.
Whereas A. Mann, as I bill him, is a former 2 time GWF champ and 2 time IP champ with nearly a dozen IP defenses. Would have went on to become one of the greatest IP champs every if he had put in a few more years. His feud in 2121 with Kill Prey was an incredible Hunter/You can't trap me series of matches over the IP title.

Suck it up people, A.M. is gone and Tanck is still here. So..... TANCK > Amazing Man And obviously Tom agrees, because Mr. no personality has gone bye-bye. I hope Mark can do something with him but until that happens.  |

In my fed Tanck beat MONOLITH for the Heavyweight title! Amazing Mann could bearly beat Swarm this past year. Still, Mann would be an awesome fit in the CPC.

 COME ON GUYS, Look at Mark Ashby's dedication already to this issue! He was up all night long and at 5 AM, FIVE AM!!! He gets up and posts how he is trying to make this happen. Come on guys let's keep up the support. Hey its almost 8AM here so I am not thinking too clearly but doesn't Marlowe have a Marlowe visa maneuver? Could that be an unbreakable hold? Marlowe seems just like the cocky guy we need to call out Mann too!!! The Marlowe Vice is starts off as a bear hug that he turns into a belly to belly suplex where the opponents head hits the bottom turnbuckle. Think of Scott Steiners belly to belly. Not really a submission hold. Guys with submission finishers: Cypher-Cypher Stretch(+3) Semi-retired Killer Queen-Checkmate (+1) Stigma-Stigmata(+3) Pendekar-Kimura Armbreaker(+1) Thayne-No Quarter (+2) Yuri-Russian Bearhug (+1) The Czar-Coup D'etat (+2) Of these guys, I see Cypher having the sack to claim no one can escape his hold. AM vs. Cypher or Stigma would be awesome |
