Ahnu

I haven't played CPC in a while since LOW took up most of my time. Has there been any news about Ahnu and when/if he'd return and get upgraded? He was my favorite CPC wrestler and I'd love to see a new card for him, even if it's just online.

Ahnu may be back. I haven't considered the ramifications of COTG Online on the number of Jardiil who will be returning to the CPC, but at least one of them will be around in 2122, whether it's one we've already seen or somebody new. Thayne needs a true enemy!

I would LOVE to have Ahnu back with an updated card. He was the most successful of the Jardiil and my favorite. It would be great if he came back.

I will say that my initial thought even before this discussion was to bring Ahnu back, but it's not set in stone yet. Check this channel for more updates after the Con. (That's not too long to wait, now is it?)

I think Onami should return instead of Ahnu, personally. He fits with Thayne's new found fire. And I like Thayne as the lose cannon guy. He's a great fit for that spot in the CPC.

Onami was a wacko. Ahnu had ability and loyalty, plus an undying devotion to his faith which made him truly dangerous.

Mark is right. For those who want a more detailed Holy War team history, read below:

Ahnu and Dar Gova were the original Faithful Crusade tag team from 2115-16. Dar Gova went back to the singles scene in 2117, and Ahnu and Onami became the "new" Faithful Crusade Tag Team, which lasted from 2117-18 (when all three members of the group left the CPC to return to their home planet to fulfill their military call-ups).

For the record, the team name was Faithful Crusade in 2115, and changed to Holy War in 2116 with the addition of Onami.

Ahnu, and the Jardiil as a whole had such a short run, with an incredibly interesting back-story, that interest in their return seems like a natural. I would also love to see Gova answer Thayne's challenge. Between those 2, and Shylock/Saboteur, the ante could be upped incredibly in 2122.
