And the CPC Brink of Cataclysm Tournament winner is ... Pendekar! Thanks in large part to the monumental upset of Yuri going over Shylock in a cage match on the last card. Had it not been for that, then we could have had some monster throwdown at the release party to determine the winner. Instead, Pendekar comes out cleanly on top in a squeaker over Talon. Full results are below: Brink of Cataclysm - Final Standings1. Pendekar (11-4-0, 47 points) 2. Talon (12-3-0, 46 points) 3. Cypher (11-4-0, 45 points) 4. Rubicon (11-4-0, 44 points) 5. Shylock (10-5-0, 42 points) 6-T. Blizzard (10-5-0, 38 points) 6-T. Scion Nexus (10-5-0, 38 points) 8-T. Dante (9-6-0, 37 points) 8-T. Jack of Diamonds (9-6-0, 37 points) 10. Comedy (8-7-0, 31 points) 11. Zed Marlowe (8-7-0, 30 points) 12. Excalibur (5-10-0, 23 points) 13. Nero (6-8-1, 22 points) 14. Gila (5-10-0, 21 points) 15-T. Brainstorm (5-10-0, 19 points) 15-T. Taurine (5-9-1, 19 points) 17. Stigma (4-10-1, 17 points) 18. Yuri the Strong (4-11-0, 15 points) 19. Grunge (4-11-0, 13 points) 20. Hadrian (3-11-1, 12 points) Congratulations to Mark for being smarter and knowing his characters better than the rest of us! Never underestimate the power of three finishers, people.

Most shocking finish of all has to be Stigma.....What happened to this guy? His 1st card was awesome and he was a bad mother in my fed!! His updated card is not as strong but it's still solid!
STIGMA WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM??? snap out of it, their are titles to win.

Todd, coulda been yours, man. The moral of the story is: Never be nice. Three finishers and a L3D turnaround do a lot for a guy. I kinda feel like a heel for my character winning the thing, so I hope nobody feels gypped by it. I honestly wanted the guy from the beginning and was hoping he'd be free while I waited for everyone else to pick. Luck was with me, I guess. Thanks to everyone for playing, and to BDS for organizing and collecting it all. Now, on to the CATACLYSM!

You know, I almost took Pendekar, but I figured that he was the guy Mark wanted, so I left him out there and chose Yuri.
Come to think of it, there's a guy who was left out of this tournament entirely who I can't believe was omitted. He also happens to have a big problem with the OFC.... so maybe he can have a knock-down with Pendekar, Cypher, Shylock, etc.
And for the record, Yuri would have done a lot better if he hadn't had to team with Grunge of all people.

I'll say it again, Mike.
The moral of the story is....!
[see above]
You'd think Stigma would do better with his card, but except for a brief upset win over Pendekar for the Cruiserweight Title (which he lost right back), he's not doing much for me, either.

And for the record, Yuri would have done a lot better if he hadn't had to team with Grunge of all people. Well, the Random Number Generator (that being my wife picking numbers between 1 and whatever for almost an hour) just wasn't kind to Comrade Yuri.

And now that he's mad, he needs to make a statement! Mark, stop the presses on Cataclysm 2121. Yuri needs to make a bold move!

Comedy did well as did Dante (can't wait for his update he might go straight to the top).i shocked no body took the Dominator (he's a 2 time CPC champ and 2 time OFC champ on my home turf)
tkx again, the dice don't lie! I'm closing in on 1,000 post (WOW)

Dominator...meh. Definitely the lowest on the OFC rung for me. Can't seem to win any OFC matches against anybody. Starting off at a 4 PIN doesn't help, probably.

I'm happy to see that Mark won the tourney. Just makes that he wins this thing. It was a tossup between Pendekar and Zed for me, but I took Zed because he is my champ. Although he is in for some tough competition in 2121.

The only reason Dominator isn't at the bottom of my singles ratings is because Olivia Swinden's baby boy has a job.... Gila hasn't wrestled a singles match for me since 2118, and he would rank AHEAD of the Dominator on my points system. I've been very disappointed in him since his return from the leg injury.

Dominator is very blehh for me, he only works well in tag matches. Stigma seems bleh except in cage matches and the like. I think it's his lack of offense.

It would appear that Talon (Jim Steel) has challenged Pendekar to a battle for it all at the CPC Cataclysm release party this Saturday. Pendekar has accepted the challenge with the stip being a best-of-three falls special match extravaganza, types of matches to be determined. I'll go easy on the guy and not make one of them OFC.

Comedy; finishing with a winning record. What happened to Zed? did he offend the dice gods? Last time I seen someone drop like that it involved a barrel and Niagara Falls. Excellent tournament BDS!

Cypher demands a recount or a rematch or something or he's going to snap someone in half
