When I originally made the decision to get back into the game, my initial thought was that I would play the CPC and LOW.
Then I talked with a few local COTG promoters (and a few online) and I kept hearing that CPC sales weren't that great, and that Tom had plans to finish the CPC and try something new. So I changed my plans and went with a GWF relaunch and LOW.
I didn't want to invest in all the 2090's-2100's game editions I would need to start my CPC off right, and then buy the CPC game editions one by one, just to have the Fed go belly-up on me.
Sure, I could continue it after it officially came to an end. But I don't want to do that.
The GWF and LOW seem to be the heart and soul of COTG. It's doubtful those two games will ever go away now that they're here. I hope CPC hangs around. If it does, I'll still buy those older games and the special addition cards and start the CPC.

The CPC is a great fed!! if you have the means start a CPC fed....The fed is stock piled full of superior talent!! and with the additions of Mensar and Euritar make it is a must!! Mark writing is top notch, the tag division is awesome, and OFC matches are the most highly contested battles you will ever have. The CPC will always be a part of my COTG experience...
A jump in point would be nice but if it doesn't happen get these sets anyway!!! I hope the CPC never closes it's doors.
tkx again, the dice don't lie!

I know it's been said before, but it bears saying again. If there was a way to start CPC without jumping through the proverbial hoops, I'd start it. Even if it was just taking all the current wrestlers and throwing them into one single buy. As it is, CPC caters to a limited crowd.
Heck, the reason why I'm back into things and even got interesting in posting on this board can all be linked up to New Beginnings.

I guess my CPC history is technically just starting because I am about halfway through 2101 in COTG and one of the three teams in the Megatournament is the Colby-Pelf Corporation. I have already bought about half of the CPC sets and Splatter's CPC Special Edition card and I am really looking forward to developing my CPC fed. I really hope the CPC stays.

Well my wife definitely wants CPC to stay open as it was her (no longer with us) brother's favorite. If we ever get a jumpstart for CPC, she'll definitely get the game.
