Well, the NWA (Nebulon Wrestling Alliance) is something I formed over 20 years ago. But not like the NWA of Glory Years , Originally called UCW Universal Championship Wrestling it was a territory of the GWF. I used the GWF stars along with my own Bootlegs. I formed the NWA in 1991 I been a member since of the COTG since 1989.This NWA is more run like WCW/WWE Traveling all over the Universe. It was set in 2089 now 20 years later it is in 3009. I use is mostly Humans. I have all the Current Arenas all over Earth and the rest of GWF Arenas all over the Universe.For the talent I used only the GWF,GWFZ,ACE,CPC,POW,LOW,LOTF,LOWBootlegsI dont use the entire cards because I don't like the Creatures as Wrestlers, except for the Animen and Darwin's Legacy. I do have a Time Machine in which People from the 20th and 21st century will come to the year of 3009 and beyond to compete. For Example :The Von Erichs, David, Fritz, Kerry and Kevin are in the NWA as well as the Fabulous Freebirds, Hayes, Garvin, Gordy and Roberts.

I have 3 Television shows called

NWA SuperBrawlers which are 6 matches, NWA Crucial Combat which are 8 matches. Both of These Shows usually showcase the athletes of the NWA but on Occasion have main event bouts.

The Last is NWA Action Assault Attack which is shown LIVE having nothing but Main Event bouts 10 matches in all

Superbrawlers and Crucial Combat are shown on Saturdays(Syndication)

Action Assault Attack is shown on Sundays (6-8pm A&E Channel) LIVE

NWA World War Championship Wrestling are House Shows/Arena Event that are 12 matches that spanned across the Universe, That feature Up and Coming, Veterans, Feuds and Championship Matches.

WRESTLECADE AND STARRQUEST

A HISTORICAL AND TRADITIONAL RETROSPECTIVE

In the Summer of 1989, I Christopher Boyd being an 18 year old kid purchased The Champions of the Galaxy Wrestling board game that dealt with pro wrestling in a futuristic setting. Not only around the world known as Earth but also on other planets, galaxies, star systems, etc. I decided to purchase the game with the first and second editions. Two years before hand I had a commodore 64 home computer that my parents bought me. My friends gave me video games that were on floppy disk that they made copies for me, being I was obsessed with Pro Wrestling as a child , I was given 4 Pro Wrestling games on disks. These games came with homemade bootleg characters names like Prince Vicious, Zeke Weasel, Zantoklaw, The Berserker, Howling Manslayer, Manslaughter Mike Morgan,Colonel Rooski, Purple Hays , Strong and Bad, Ricky’s Fighters, Ironhead, Sultan, Sea Dawg, Cavalcade Enforcer, Bob Hickory, Hacksaw Hank Harris,Terry Orton, Ultimate Crippler, Tomahawk, Harry The Horrible, The Ninja, Sgt Slam,Gino The Policeman, and my favorite K.C. Colossus. Being that Already had these games , I made extra copies of the Champions Of The Galaxy Cards and penciled in the physical characterics, slapped the computer games names on the copies and viola the computer wrestling characters were now part of the UCW Universe. Now UCW stood for the Universal Championship Wrestling , a member of the GWF, The Galaxian Wrestling Federation, which is headed by the Creator Tom Filsinger. Now had a show called Takedown Challenge it featured three bouts , My house shows were called simply Universal Championship Wrestling it was a six bout card. The specials were 9 bouts and they were the Supercards that came on TV like the Old Clash of the Champions. But supercards were 12 bouts in all. This brings me to my first Supercard called WRESTLECADE . The Idea of wrestlecade came from the WWE, known at that time called the WWF and the NWA later known as WCW. I wanted a supercard in the spring time and I need something with pizzazz so it dawn on me , why not make a name out of the two biggest show in the Industry! The “Wrestle” name came from Wrestlemania and the “Cade” name came from Starrcade. I witness my very first Wrestlemania live in the year 1988. My first Starrcade came to me in the fall of 1987, even though I never saw it live. So thus WRESTLECADE was born. I wanted my first wrestlecade to have like a holiday feel to it. Back then I was planning on having it on Easter , but Easter came on Last Sunday of that March. So I choose the next Holiday at that time in April, Passover. In 1989 it came on a Thursday and that is when I held the event in my room, I was living with my parents. I had it around 7pm and didn’t finish around 1am. The event was originally Held at the Boston Gardens In Boston, Mass, USA Earth. This was my first Supercard and being that it was supposed to be held on a another planet, I choose Earth because I was very familiar with the coliseums and arenas in the U.S. I never been to Boston in my life so I decided to have the event there. WRESTLECADE 89: BEDLAM IN BEANTOWN was seen on Pay Per View 12 matches in all. Being given the Moniker “The Greatest Supercard of All time” It was just that and then some. I used Disco Lights that my Brother had , They were my Pyrotechnics and it was amazing to me back then. The Card itself was capped off by the Main Event , Thantos Vs. Omega for the Galaxian Championship, later known as The Universe Championship, now known as The World Championship . Omega won the title to avenge his Son, Star Warrior who Thantos injured and took the title from. Wolf and Massacre fought but Wolf lost the match. The Universal title aka The World title was decided as Harry The Horrible beat Gino The Policeman. Fortunately for Gino , He regained the title back at the Very First Country Clash in Tampa, Florida in which was Voted Match of the Year because Believe it or not I had a dream about the match a week before, Gino won with a flying body block and that is what exactly happened in 1989 aka 2089.In 1991 aka 2091 UCW Broke away from the GWF and form the NWA (Nebulon Wrestling Alliance) I decided then to for an increase in Championship and added a set of 4 Supercard titles 4 singles and 4 tags titles like The NWA World TV Championship and the NWA Worldwide Television Championships ,AKA NWA Television Tag Team Championship now known as the NWA World Vision Tag Team Championship, These belts are non sanction by the NWA they are only defended on Supercards Purposes only. The NWA Grew and Grew. I relished in it constantly because my purpose was to have these titles like the Crockett Cup and the King of The Ring instead of Trophies, I supplemented Championships.




On The Heels of WRESTLECADE, I needed another event in the fall particularly around Thanksgiving, So I came up with a show called POWERQUEST. I called it POWERQUEST 89: TRI STATE HEAT , FOR ONCE AND FOR ALL. The Reason I wanted a card on Thanksgiving is that Jim Crockett Promotions promoted STARRCADE on Thanksgiving only. The last Starrcade that was on Thanksgiving was in 1987, the next year it was moved to December. I took offense to this and the reason why they moved it because The WWE held the Survivor Series on Thanksgiving in 1987, So Ted Turner who bought the NWA from JCP decided to move the event to December. I felt that the Survior Series Thing was bad, STARRCADE was first on Thanksgiving night and Ted Turner should have fought the cable companies for more coverage . If the WWE didn’t want show WrestleMania on Cable or Satellite Providers , So be it, This was the NWA to goto the Next level as in the World of Pay Per View. They been having STARRCADE on Closed Circuit Television for years and it was more harder to see it then being that Closed Circuit Television wasn’t available everywhere. STARRCADE was held more in the Southeast than anywhere else. Back to the matter at hand, POWERQUEST 89 was held in three Locations in the Tri State Area, The New Haven Coliseum in New Haven ,Conn. The Meadowlands Arena aka Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ. And Madison Square Garden in NYC. Four matches in three arenas 12 matches in all. The Main Event was for the Galaxian Championship as Thantos defended the title against the Returning Star Warrior , The Warrior won the Title from Thantos. Wolf Beat Massacre In a federation exile match. In 2004 I decided to Change the Name from POWERQUEST To STARRGAGE. I did because when WWE bought up WCW in 2001. I praying that the NWA could use the STARRCADE name again. A year later in 2002 The TNA Group formed and I was thinking that the Promotion was going to bring back the STARRCADE name because they were NWA Members but they never did so I decided once again to use the STARR name, I was look for a name that meant collision, then suddenly I saw the word Gage and then I unified the two. Starr and Gage, Starrgage. At first I really like it but the way it was said it sounded like a copy of STARRCADE. So I decided to change the Name again to STARRQUEST Thus A new name but still the same tradition. I always dug the Quest name ,so I just added Starr. So now comes This Thanksgiving which is Next Thursday, Just like the 20th Anniversary of WRESTLECADE, STARRQUEST celebrates it’s 20 anniversary, These 2 events was born in the Same year of 1989 and here I am still alive to see it and to have it.
