So I don't care who you are or what you believe TNA's Monday Impact was Pay Per View quality wrestling...FOR FREE!
The greatest Sting moments ever!Yes Sting signed to be on TNA's roster!1st he takes out Hogan and Abyss, then later he gets pinned by RVD,but then he goes nuts whacking Rvd with his black bat! Many fans boo him but then again some were cheering!I myself haven't liked RVD since the "REAL" ECW days.McMahon took a great character "Mr Momday Night" and made him a bufoon!RVD will get a worthwhile storyline out of this!I guarantee it!So will Sting!
Beautiful People are Tag Champs. There are dues to be paid! But I can see The Beautiful People "stealing" all the TNA Knockout Gold!
Angle gets revenge on Mr Anderson with the help of The US Army!Of course we all know if that was for real they'd all be Court Marshaled for doing what they did!Hats Off to Kurt Angle!Great Pro-America speech!TNA ain't no stinkin' liberals! They LOVE our troops and show them the respect they deserve!
Beer Money with the help of a TNA Referee get a stolen victory over TNA Founder Jeff Jarrett!Like they would need a TNA Ref to push Special Referee Mick Foley out of the way and hand them a victory!Face it if Beer Money can't beat Jarrett on their own they don't deserve a TNA Tag Title Match against Hernandez and Matt Morgon!
I gotta say I'm liking Eric Bischoff more and more every week!Didn't I tell you Hall & Waltman would get a contract deal so they can resolve this Hall,Waltman,Nash and Young feud!Well Eric Bischoff made that possible at Destination X!
Even Dixie Carter gets involved which is something I've never seen! She usually leaves the big decisions to The General Manager who in this case is Eric Bischoff.
Once again props to Flair and Hogan!Flair always said he "Paved the way with blood, sweat and tears"!Tonight was no exception.Even though Hogan and Abyss got the win in the end,it didn't matter. It was oneheluva match!Vintage Flair,Vintage Hogan,Styles gets a couple of High Spots and Abyss gets the biggest win of his career! To top it off they go off the air with Desmond wolf,The Pope and Jeff hardy getting involved!
Syxx said 3/4 of The Wolfpack were there.Excuse me do the match Waltman,Hall,Nash,Syxx,Sting...the only one not there was K-Dogg Konan!Bischoff tells Hall and Nash to get lost and says to Eric Young he has the lisence to do what he will!Eric didn't disappoint the fans he gave it everything! This was the best Eric Young moment ever! This is the same guy that Vince Russo used to make fall over because he got frightened by The Pyros! This is the Eric Young they ridiculed every week a couple of years ago! This is the same Eric Young they made wear a cape and have a stupid super hero character!Eric Young finally gets his High Spot!BTW props to Syxx Pac too it was a great match!
So all in all I think their March 8th Monday Night debut was a success! Now it's time to see what the competition is doing.

Here we go again...
I missed the 1st 10 minutes, but when I tuned in,Security was seperating Sting and Hogan.Bischoff had the bat and he was chewing out Hogan for trying to fight with Sting!Brook Hogan is at ringside and she's concerned.Hey Brook if you don't want to see your father bleed every week...DON'T COME TO THE ARENA!
Bischoff puts Hernandez in a match with Beer Money, with Jeff Jarrett as The Special Referee!Hernandez loses by pinfall but then Jarrett rips off the Ref Shirt and joins the fight!Beer Money heads for the hills!Great stuff!
Have I told you how much I'm liking Bischoff these days?He wanted to cut Foley's hair.I predicted that. The twist is...MR SOCKO!(I'm guessing Mick owns the Socko gimmick and not Titan Sports)Mr Socko gets a big pop!Bischoff is KOed Mick shaves his head....BADLY!I gotta say Bischoff is a good sport! He's got a really bad hair cut and Foley is back to dressing in baggy Salvation Army attire!
Nash puts up $25,000 to get Hall in a 5 minute match.Just when it looked like Nash had him who shows up with a cheapshot or two?You got it Waltman!Hoo baby it's nWo all over again!Eric Young tries to make the save, but gets clobbered!Hall and Waltman leave with the money and it looks like they will get TNA contracts.
Kassairian,Me Generation,The Motorcity Machine Guns and Chris Daniels get involved in an X-Division match between Amazing Red and some X-Division guy I never heard of.Sorry I never watched X-Division much.Amazing Red delivers a somersault senton and wipes out Daniels The MC Machine Guns and his opponent all at one time!Spectacular move.
In The Main Event AJ vs Jeff Hardy.First let me express this, and let me make myself perfectly clear!Hardy did NOT deserve a match with The TNA Champion as his debut match. He quit the company because,he simply coundn't get the job done.He jumped back to WWE,he becomes their Champion for a short period. So basically this guy is an old piece of bubble gum stuck to the shoe of wrestling! He keeps getting big matches and keeps failing!
Don't get me wrong the kid has heart but dammit he does not deserve a Titleshot! So anyway Abyss is Special Enforcer. He manages to keep Flair at bay.But when The Ref is knocked down during a crossbody block by AJ,Abyss takes it upon himself to count AJ down when Hardy pins him!Abyss is NOT a Referee,it doesn't matter what he counts!Hardy doesn't have a win because The Ref will call it as AJ DQed for hitting The Ref!Hopefully this won't turn into a WWE-esque 3 Way Dance for The TNA Title. There are TNA WORKERS that haven't had their spot yet!Abyss bearly qualifies for a titleshot too!Just because he's Hogan's boy...
I'd like to see Matt Morgan get a shot. How about Kassarian?Chris Daniels,Kurt Angle,Mr Anderson even Samoa Joe is more qualified than Hardy! That Wolfe guy deserves a shot too!He one of the best of the High Card guys! It's all about selling tickets I guess.
Overall another great show!Gotta go see what the competition is doing tonight.I bet Orton is in The Main Event again...

WHERE DOES TNA GO FROM HERE...
TNA's "Immortals" have painted themselves into a corner.Yes,they have Hogan,Bischoff,Flair and The members of Fourtune,Abyss,Jeff Jarrett, and TNA Champion Jeff Hardy. But who will oppose them?
Kevin Nash and Sting are off the roster,so is Kurt Angle.Pope Dianglo is still fighting for TNA as are Samoa Joe and The Motorcity Machineguns. RVD,Mr Anderson and a few others are on the roster as independents. The thing is,even if you tried to put them together to try to unseat The "Immortals",their egos would prevent them from functioning as a cohesive unit.
As of last week Dixie Carter is gone. She was tricked by Hogan and Bischoff into signing TNA over to them.(Where have we heard that scenario before?)
Who is left to bring to the fight? There are no living wrestlers that are the calibur of Hogan and Flair. There's no Luger,no Sid,no Road Warriors.Who's left?Main Event Mafia guys?Didn't work before, won't work now.
Are there any talented newer guys?Well Matt Hardy is on his way,but like RVD and Mr Anderson,he's not a team player.Christian Cage could make it work.He has talent and charisma!Jericho who is disappointed in how his career in The WWE is going, might be a prime candidate.
Are there any ultra talented wrestlers in The Indy or developing in The NWA?
Something must be done to save TNA...

Yes. A lot of them. Unfortunately, I don't think any will wind up in TNA. This would be a chance to finally elevate someone new to lead the charge against Hogan's group, though.

Two weeks ago iMPACT! was as bad as RAW was three weeks ago where there was very little in-ring action, this weeks iMPACT! was better and I liked it from start to finish. TNA is not going to bring in a ton of new and younger guys, people will have to get use to the fact that TNA is WCW and they are going with the older wrestlers for the most part...
I've always been a off and on watcher of wrestling because if it doesn't entertain me then I stop, I stopped for months in watching TNA and the WWE. I'm done with the WWE again but I'm giving TNA a shot and it is so off and on with the entertainment value it's hard to stick with it...
Anyway, from what I've heard you might see more Jersey Shore people coming in to work with Robbie E and Cookie, again this kind of stuff is what kills TNA. I do like Robbie E and Cookie, but they are not in the best angle, so we'll see how long it lasts...
I really don't see Chris Jericho coming to TNA, he is touring with Fozzy this winter and I'm sure he'll be happy not wrestling...
Christian is out right now after surgery and I don't think he'll return to TNA, I could see him retiring in the WWE...
It would be great to see more younger guys in TNA, but the people in charge look to the past to be part of it's company and the viewership pretty much doesn't drop in a major way but it doesn't rise, it pretty much remains at the same level and is that a bad thing, not really...

Christian is out right now after surgery and I don't think he'll return to TNA, I could see him retiring in the WWE... I wonder if Christian ever wakes up in the morning after a week on the road of jobbing on the middle of the card and kicks himself for leaving TNA. I don't know what the difference is in money, but the TNA schedule is pretty light and he was at the top of the card there. He went back the the WWE and the best he's done is a short run as ECW champ when the belt meant just slightly less than the Divas championship, then it was back to "popular jobber" status. Unless he's making a whole lot more money I don't see the attraction. I think he forgets that he left the WWE in the first place because Vince never perceived him as being a main event guy. He came back and nothing has changed. As far as who could take it to the next level in TNA, I just don't know. They seem to be serious about Joe again, but I've never been sold on him and his character has been really messed with so much it could be hard to get him over like he used to be when he first came in. They'll probably keep building on Ken Anderson. His merch sales are apparently really high right now and there's no reason not to keep pushing him and see how much money they can make.

I've read that Christian is fine with his status in the WWE as a mentor and to push younger guys, that is why he went to ECW to help push some of the young guys there and I really thought the ECW run he had was better then most of RAW and Smackdowns stuff at that time... It would be cool to see him back in TNA, but who knows if that would happen and for now he is out of sight till he gets healthy again and that could be another 4 or so months... I liked Samoa Joe back when iMPACT! started on Spike and then all these changes that made him look like crap over the years it is hard to take him as a serious contender or title holder anymore. I think they should give the Pope a run with the World Title, I like him and he is a younger talent...

Samoa Joe is like TNA's version of the 80s Dusty Rhodes.Talented, fan favorite, good enough to get short title reigns, but not big enough to hold on to a title for any real lengthy period.
TNA is "playing" us.They want you to think it's WCW all over again. But something, and I mean something big has to be in the works.Hogan's "Immortals" are the 2010 version of The NwO.But as Flair has stated in the past,"If there wasn't a Dusty Rhodes, there wouldn't be The Four Horsemen".Even though I'm paraphrasing you know what I'm getting at.
To have GREAT Stars like Hogan and Flair you have to have SUPER opponents.I'm talking seemingly unbeatable opponents.Bischoff,Hogan and Flair know this, their competitors made them Superstars.Someone has to "turn" and try to "save" TNA.And what about Dixie,in real life Dixie Carter brought TNA as far as this."The Takeover" is part of the storyline.Carter has to much time and money invested in TNA to give it up like that.
As far as "in ring"...we're seeing less actual wrestling skill and more "Mob Rules" tactics.TNA has the best wrestlers. Chris Daniels,Amazing Red,Kazarian,AJ Styles, let them do what they do best,wrestle.1 or 2 "squash" matches and several matches that showoff TNA superior wrestling skill. The show needs more balance.
So it's all speculation, but it is intriguing. Will it blossom into the "future of wrestling" or will greed and egotistic thinking suck it down the tubes like WCW?We'll see.

Bob Carter for sure backs TNA and the whole Hogan and Bischoff takeover is a work and I'm sure down the road Dixie Carter the character will be back running things. Who will be the force that battles the Immortals, well if Kevin Nash is truely done with TNA he's out and I'm sure Sting will be back again to fight them. Samoa Joe has been a joke for too long and he needs time to get back to being that true threat and badass, it will be interesting to see what they'll do and Matt Hardy could be one of those heroes coming into TNA since he is no longer with the WWE... Overall signs point that TNA could be in trouble if they follow the same path that WCW did, I just want to see TNA do well but they will always be the red headed step kid that will never get respect and it's the cool thing to like the WWE and hate on TNA...

So if you watched the last episode of TNA,change comes from within.Matt Morgan wants to do the right thing,of course "Immortal" is against giving Anderson any sort of break. They can't afford for Anderson to beat Hardy.
Why does Hardy keep refering to himself as "Extreme" and "Hardcore"? He's actually a Highflier!Sandman,Foley,Fit Finlay those guys are Hardcore!Even Sir William Regal is more extreme than Hardy.Okay Anderson got some stitches from that chairshot to the head, that only qualifies Hardy to be a Hardcore wannabe!
There is much more talented wrestlers in TNA than Hardy. How'd he end up with the belt? The last time it was part of the deal he made with Dusty Rhodes.Promote guys from the inside. What about The Pope or Jay Lethal?Rick Roode? There are plenty of guys that have given a lot of time and effort, but Hardy just walks in and they practically hand him the title.
Will The Dudleys retire?I have to praise them they've held tag titles like 23 times. They are one of the most entertaining tag teams to watch. They do draw a big crowd.I hope they go out with a bang.Let's hope it's not an angle that they'll drag out for any period of time.
I want to know how they are going to write their way out of this one.

Yes, TNA does have excellent talent that are younger, but it is politics as usual with Russo, Bischoff and Hogan running the show and the younger talent has been bumped down again and Jeff Hardy did come off being the WWE Champion when he left the WWE so TNA knows Hardy is the name to sell then the Pope and others...Will The Dudleys retire?I have to praise them they've held tag titles like 23 times. They are one of the most entertaining tag teams to watch. They do draw a big crowd.I hope they go out with a bang.Let's hope it's not an angle that they'll drag out for any period of time.

I have a feeling they won't retire just yet, I really doubt the WWE will take them back for a run but maybe for the HoF, I think they will stretch out that One More Match Concept with Team 3D and for me they really haven't mattered in wrestling in years and I don't know if they do now...
I didn't watch any wrestling this week, both TNA and WWE right now are really not entertaining enough to make me tune in and if TNA can get their heads out of their assess and get back to more wrestling and better storylines I'll watch but that might come when the next big thing is around the corner...

On what looked like the worst day for TNA,in reality Impact gave us almost everything we wanted to see. Beer Money destroys Gunner & Murphy. The Blueprint Matt Morgan puts away Hernandez.Even Kurt Angle had a good night!A football player from the Jets gets The Ankle Lock. The Genetic Freak beat The Freak Rob Terry.A surprise challenger for Jeff Hardy turns out to be Sting, who wins The TNA Title.
It seemed suspicious to me that Immortal didn't storm the ring.Neither did Mr Anderson.Fourtune didn't get involved with anyone's matches either.Something isn't right.Their format has been "gang tactics",but on what was billed as The Most Important Night in TNA history...the format changes.
They haven't made us wait all this time to just let Hogan and Bischoff win.My guess is that Dixie Carter is the one behind the "network decisions".We will see in the coming weeks.
This has got to be the most unusual storyline I've ever seen management play.We thought,oh no WCW all over again. But this has not been the case.TNA Management has made good decisions. For the most part the fans have gotten what they wanted.Sure there's been a lot of "stalling" to build heat, but everything has come around.TNA is not predictable like other companies too.
TNA tonight B+.Not a bad show!Hogan says he's in control, but we know Dixie has something brewing.Even though Hogan got what he wanted, there still seems to be a shift in "power" and not in his favor.

TNA since I returned to watching it back in December of 2010 has been the Best Three Months in years that has entertained me from TNA...
I'm glad Sting and Hogan are back, plus they are pushing the homegrown guys in a good way too...
After watching that crappy RAW this week, iMPACT! was so much better...
Infact TNA has inspired me to bring back my TNE WRESTLING! fed using Bootlegs, Official CotG & LoW and GWFZ cards...
