I've been enjoying the one hour ECW over the other two brands for some time now, they have good to very good matches and some descent storylines. The Hart Dynasty right now is the best thing faction wise going in the WWE, plus I like that Christian is the ECW Champion and just the overall show is entertaining.

It's easier to be entertaining when they don't have as much time to fill.
Also: Matt Stryker on color is a HUGE asset to the "brand".

It's easier to be entertaining when they don't have as much time to fill. Also: Matt Stryker on color is a HUGE asset to the "brand". True on both accounts, Striker is golden as a commentator and if it's true Dusty Rhodes as a writer in my view makes this a better product. Spoiler here if you didn't see the ppv or look at the results but TOMMY DREAMER is the Champion which I like and can't wait to see how they play this out in the end... The Hart Dynasty is another golden egg for ECW, I hope that they build on this trio in ECW give the brand a good spotlight before moving them onto another brand. Mark Henry was never one of my favorites, but since he garnered the ECW belt many many months back I've liked him, plus you have Tony Atlas who've I've always liked with him for the time being from what looks like a turn angle with the two coming...

Henry, for all of his faults (and he still has a few), is an AWESOME monster heel, especially given how small (size-wise) the ECW roster is on average. "Somebody's Gonna Get Their Ass Kicked" is one of the most appropriate entrance themes ever; when Henry comes to the ring, he just looks like a walking mountain of incoming pain.
My only problem with the Hart Dynasty is that there's really no outlet for Natalya. There are currently two non-GM females on the ECW brand, and they're both heels (her and Katie Lee Burchill). Both of them are sort of being wasted as glorified valets right now, especially since both "major" brands have female champions now.
On the subject of GMs, Tiffany has FAR exceeded my expectations of her role. They're really playing her up to be an intelligent businesswoman who isn't going to be bossed around by her "employees", which is sort of the last thing I'd expect the writing team to be able to pull off. They haven't even been able to do that for Eddie Guerrero's WIDOW (last seen losing a handicap hog pen match to a guy in drag), for crying out loud.

I'm glad that Tiffany is front and center as the GM, I think if the creative team has Dusty Rhodes as a member this could be why Tiffany has such a good written role. In the end ECW for me a must watch...

Hopefully I have my DVR fixed to record the over-run...
I don't mind missing Raw's over-run, since the result is ALWAYS recapped a dozen times later in the week, but ECW's doesn't get that courtesy.

I just watched lastnights ECW and I thought it was a good show, the one strange thing was Kozlov walked out smiling and raising his arm in the air and at the crowd but the smiling gave me a vibe he's turned face...

That would suck. ECW is the perfect place for him to build up as a monster heel. They probably just don't know what to do with a big monster with an intimidating appearance and martial arts background, and letting him, I don't know...wrestle, is out of the question.

Part of the problem is that they already DID that with him; hell, I liked his character better when he didn't even have entrance music. They didn't seem to have a plan for after HBK ended his undefeated streak prior to WM. (Shocking, I know.)

ECW Title Match on RAW tonight, I only have interest in this match coming out of RAW tonight...
With this rumored list of people being suspended I really hope it's not anyone key from ECW or at all...

Most of the names should be developmental, low-tier guys from what (little) I understand.
Although granted, the difference between those guys and the ECW roster can be very fine.

Wow. Nothing kills the excitement of a match quite like on on-screen pop-up saying "Hey, the match you WANT to see starts in about 10 minutes."

Well I think they should have never had the match on RAW, ECW is the red-headed stepkid of the three main brands and well I think the clock thing sucked too... well tonight we have ECW with Evan Bourne versus Mark Henry which has been fun to watch...

Spoilers ahead if you have not watched ECW from lastnight 6/16...
David Hart Smith getting the victory in I thought was a pretty good match between him and Christian, liked Finlay coming out and attacking Christian...
Mark Henry crushing Evan Bourne was good, I really like Henry these days and this feud is not bad at all...
Jack Swagger vs. Tommy Dreamer was better then the RAW Dreamer vs. Christian match for sure, the ending was excellent with Finlay coming out attacking Dreamer and then Swagger was very cool. I like having Finlay back to a meaner streak, very excellent!
ECW overall was a better show then RAW was overall in my view...

ECW overall was a better show then RAW was overall in my view... Again, 3 hours vs. 1. Which is a dead horse, I really think the 2 hour shows have drained the life out of the product and so 1 hour formula can be adapted to each hour. Have your main event guys focused on the 2nd hour and build the other guys for the first hour or some mix of both without overloading.

So how many people, exactly, are on the ECW roster right now? Because I just keep seeing the same dozen or so people:
Dreamer, Christian, Swagger, DHS, Tyson Kidd, (Natalya), Henry, (Tony Atlas?), Bourne, Finlay, and whichever of Kozlov/Ryder/Burchill (Katie) is getting the squash match that week.
That's a lot of talent, granted, but there's only so much they can do with the same few people.

I was thinking what an intriguing match that Kozlov and Jack Swagger could have! Just think if Kozlov did turn face (just a little) and get a big promo spot going against Swagger. Could be HUGE! Maybe the only benefit of having Kozlov turn face. or maybe just "neutral" for a spell?!
Maybe that's what the "E" is thinking ahead? hmm......

It was a nice suprise to see Bourne get the victory over Kidd, which I don't think hurts him since he lost his edge with Hart and Natalya being removed from ringside.
I liked the Finlay eye injury angle and the tag team main event is a nice way to build toward this weekends ppv and the Hurricane is back! I like Helms, just hope he will get in the ring and wrestle more often.
