I think this is a good set for now.As you know there are tons more great jobbers!Salvatore Belomo comes to mind,Rick Nelson,Damon Stryker (pre-Edge),even Masa Fujiwara (before he became Mr Fuji) was a great jobber.
Anyone with jobber ideas or jobber cards that you'd like to share are welcome here.
How about Kenny Chaos (he team with Rick Steiner),WTIC suggested Little Richard Marley aka Rocky King.

Neil- Yeah those would be the same guys.They were one of the toughest Jobber Tag Teams.You're right I don't remember them beating anyone.WTIC reminded me of them.If you have State Patrol you got to have their counter parts The Mod Squad.Another tough team that kept getting slaughtered by guys like The Lightning Express or Dudes with Attitudes or even Boogie Woogie Man & Laser Tron! I admit I cheered for guys like The Gladiators and The Thunderfoots.Of course you knew they were never gonna win,but they always got a huge pop when they mounted any sort of offense! NWA's Italian Stallion had great matches with guys like Dr Death and Ric Flair so did Tony Suber.They never won,but we cheered for them because they gave it everything they had.They never had enough to beat the high card guys,but that okay.They were just doing their...JOBS! uewdrb  |

Neil- I noticed something last night when I was watching an old NWA tape.There are way more matches on those shows. But the matches are swift and intense.Most times they don't even bother to tell you who's getting beat up.Matches average 1-2 minutes. The storylines were "fed" by the interviews not by long boring in ring confrontations like you see in WWE.They showed "Flashback" clips to further storylines too.They only showed the climax of the action. They pushed the high card guys but mostly saved the really big matches for the NWA Pro show or PPVs. uewdrb |
