Edge beat Triple H(c)+Koslov after he was added to the match by Vicky Guerrero to win the title. Jeff Hardy also got involved

John Cena beat Chris Jericho(c) to win the title

Former WWE champion Punk gets pinned by a tag wrestler, Kozlov's push stops dead in its tracks, and Edge reunites with Vicki after she set him up to get crushed by UT.

It seems like every time WWE takes a step forward, they then make a huge leap back.

Kozlov's push wasn't stopped, really, since he didn't take the actual fall and was waylaid by a chair shot in what was nearly a four-man triple threat match. He can still claim to be undefeated without losing much credibility.

But yeah... wasn't incredibly jazzed to see Edge come back and take the title like that. Jeff/Edge would have been a fine program without the WWE Title being involved, since now we have HHH and Kozlov still in the mix. Hopefully that will get sorted out at Armageddon.

I don't think Kozlov will get any kind of push now that Edge has the belt again. He might be in the main event at the next ppv, but I doubt he'd win.

Kozlov's basically just a Monster anyway. Monsters don't usually get titles except as transitions or hot shots.

Probably; they haven't busted that out yet this year IIRC. At least it won't be a double chamber like last year's Armageddon.
