I've recently discovered the world of Emulation!I downloaded roms for Fire Pro for Gameboy Advance,Fire Pro 2 Final for Gameboy Advance,Fire Pro X for SNES and Fire Pro Joshi (Womens' Wrestling) for SNES! All 4 of these games are worth looking into.Best moves I've ever seen in a wrestling video game.The graphics are archaic compared to the modern 3D stuff but the games are so good! In Fire Pro & Fire Pro 2 you get a collection of wrestlers from Japanese Wrestling and MMA Organizations.In Fire Pro Joshi you get a Mid 90s roster from AJWPW! In Fire Pro X you get an Early 90s IWGP/New Japan Roster.Includes Hawk, Norton,Benoit and Sabu! I used to watch Japanese Wrestling Shows back then and remember these guys well!Ricky Choshu!Kenji Muto!Fujinami!Tenryu!All the Stars from Japan! Anyway,you can download the emulators and roms FREE from: www.romnation.net or www.rom-freaks.netBTW there's a feature on these games that I really love.Sim mode!You can have all the wrestlers controlled by the cpu!Believe me it's more fun than watching real wrestling!I'm a text based sim programmer and I'm prepared to admit defeat.This Video Sim stuff is "Tooo Sweeet!" uewdrb ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D |

I discovered a section in Fire Pro X that has wrestlers from a bunch of different Japanese Organizations.You can team Hawk with Tenryo and have them wrestle Gordy and Hansen or Hogan & The Undertaker!There are MMA oragnizations too.Submission or KO only in the Hexagon!There are a number of different Arena and you can select different background music!This is a great video game!

Sorry for the miss information...it's not Fire Pro X that has the Octagon it's (the original) Fire Pro (gameboy).In that one you can edit wrestlers or create new ones.You can also do that in Fire Pro 2.Anyway the Fire Pro series is definately the best wrestling vids I've ever played.Lots more in depth than WWF,WCW and some of the other vids that were released at that time.
Tell me about Fire Pro Returns 2007.Can I download a rom yet?

In reality those vids took up a whole bunch of space and took forever to download.Sim Mode really does ROCK!
It's what sim fans have dreamt about for years.In fact,the newest wrestling sims work on that principle.Although the Virtual Basic sim graphics aren't as good.Hats off to the WWE Survivor and Fire Pro Wrestling Programmers.
BTW I found another Womens Wrestling Sim.Super Fire Pro Queen's Special.Like Fire Pro Joshi but more so!Great game!Way more choices of wrestlers and fighting styles!

Okay so I used Fire Pro Wrestling (gba) to create a Womens' League.During a Tag Tourney something odd happened.The Match became a wild out of the ring brawl.A lot of it out of camera range.Count Out was turned off
so they kept brawling.There were several pins in the ring but because there was wrestler brawling outside the ring,the Referee didn't count.Bottom line all 4 wrestlers brawled out of camera range for about 10 minutes.I noticed that I couldn't hear them landing any blows.The fans started booing,quiet at 1st then louder when the wrestlers failed to appear.I gave them 20 minutes on the game's clock,but nothing.70 minutes into the match and no wrestlers to be found.I reset the game and reran the tourney.It didn't do that again but I think that it's kinda cool that the cpu would do that.

Artificial Intelligence - Not Always Smart
I was running a Cage Tournament yesterday and an unusual thing happened.The wrestlers I used couldn't get a 3 count!After about 50 2 counts,the clock stop ticking at 99.59.I let it run about 10 minutes more...more 2 counts.I finally reset the game.In the matches without time limits the wrestlers will keep fighting.Those particular matches are No Countout too,so they will brawl out of camera range.You'd think the programmers would have set a perimeter and the match would play itself out.It's an interesting flaw.

I've been playing FPR Returns for the PS2. I found a site that has edits for a number of LOW and LOTF wrestlers. You can also download wrestlers as well. I DL'ed a bunch of LOTF guys and created a bunch of the LOW ones. I also created Sam Hayne and a few others. I think I overpowered Hayne though as he's currently undefeated, even leaving Chris Hero a bloody mess.

What sites is that?Any Fire Pro downloads for GBA?I'm playing an emulated GBA version of Fire Pro on my computer.Fire Pro has to be the best Wrestling Vid game!I tried The Wrestlemania series and was disappointed.

www.caws.ws/There's the link. I don't think it has anything for the GBA version, but you might find something you can use. I ended up ordering the GBA version (along with the strategy guide) because I lost my previous one. Aside from being able to watch wrestling on the go, I like how matches can be rated. I miss that in the PS2 version.

I think I overpowered Sam Hayne. I thought I made his stats close to everyone else's, but he obliterated Chris Hero in the finals of my tournament to win the vacant XTC Title. His first title defense is against Delirious. We'll see how that goes.
