source: www.f4wonline.comJohn Cena is reportedly having serious problems with his neck, which has caused numbness in one of his arms. Cena had an MRI done Saturday before the Raw brand house show at Madison Square Garden. He returned to the arena and said, "Long story short, my neck is (expletive) up badly." Cena was originally slated to work singles matches at this weekend's house shows, but they were turned into tags with Batista as his partner. Batista worked the majority of their tag matches at all three shows. Cena has yet to indicate if he's going to be taking some time off or not.

I don't think he's gonna make it as a wrestler. He should stick to rapping and overacting.

He should stick to rapping and overacting. So true. I'm actually sad he's hurt. I liked watching him lose all his PPV matches clean as of late.

Oh come on guys! Even Ric Flair said that he can wrestle. That's got to count for something.

Oh come on guys! Even Ric Flair said that he can wrestle. That's got to count for something. It counts for nothing. Only one person is allowed to vouch for Cena's wrestling abilities. Oops.... I mean this guy Quit stealing my material!!! ;D

I said "it's got to count for something," not "John Cena is the greatest wrestler ever." In that case, yes Kevin Nash is the only one who could possible be the judge of that!

Aww, give Cena a break. He's not a bad wrestler, he's an average wrestler. He has average matches that get huge reactions.
On the other hand, the Rock is not a great wrestler either. He's also an average wrestler that has average matches with huge reactions. See where I'm going?
Of course, they don't make the Rock act like a clinically retarded moron like the way Cena does, so maybe that's the difference between the two of them.

Well, that's more of a difference in the WWE's writing philosophy at their respective times.

you see, I have this theory though that the WWE writers *want* us older fans to realize that Cena's fundamental character flaw is that he's not the most intelligent wrestler in the promotion. I mean, it seemed like they tried real hard a year ago to convince us that Randy Orton was several degrees smarter than Cena just to really try to hammer the point home.
When Cena "came back early" from his injury last winter and won the Royal Rumble, only to try to cash in his title shot the very next night instead of waiting until Wrestlemania, it was a move that seemed really dumb, yet perfectly consistent with Cena's impetulant wrestling persona. The younger fans admire this as a sense of courage, never surrender, and intestinal fortitude. The older fans simply view him as immature, rash, and more guts than brains. Both views are absolutely right, depending on which way you want to spin it. And it is with other not-remotely-subtle booking moves that I believe the WWE writers try to preserve the love-hate dichotomy of the fans in the arena.
Sometimes it works, and sometimes it fails miserably (like the JBL vehicular homicide angle which I actually laughed hysterically at because I thought it was funny that Cena would be so freakin stupid to walk out into an obvious trap with almost no provocation, only to be waffled over the head with a tire iron and sandwiched between two cars -- but apparently no one else did).
The Rock on the other hand, is just a dick. But a funny dick, especially during his feud with Goldberg when he was supposed to be playing the heel and was obviously trying real hard to keep himself from cracking up during the middle of his own promos because the interviewers often weren't able to. But that's why everyone loves him.
