I thought Adamle did well in his first (official) week as RAW's GM. He "made" some interesting matches (and one stupid one -- the double-title tag match at SS) and carried himself well, especially admitting his past failings.
I kinda hope they give the guy some better writing, though. I nearly put my fist through a wall when the Cena/Batista v. Rhodes/Dibiase title match was announced, because it was so fucking obvious that they were going down the "tag champs who hate each other" road YET AGAIN. To my mind, this has worked well once (Angle & Benoit), and every other time it was just obnoxious -- especially since it always seems to come at the expense of two young guys who were just getting pushed (which is basically what the tag belts are for anyway these days). I think that's part of what made the Angle/Benoit version of this stupidity work; they were part of a serious three-team tag title scene (with the Guerreros and Rey/Edge) and not crushing two up-and-comers.
Ahem... rant aside, I liked him in his new role. And I thought Grisham did well as ECW's new PBP guy, so it's win-win-win as far as I'm concerned (with the extra "win" for freeing up Regal for more active competition).

Jim Cornette once had a rule called the "Seven Year Rule". The rule is basically:
Coined by Professional Wrestling promoter, writer, on-air personality, and general jack-of-all-trades Jim Cornette, the Seven Year Rule is the unwritten pro wrestling rule that, after seven years, there has been enough turnover in the fanbase that a writer can re-use the same gimmicks and storylines with impunity. As the theory goes, any wait shorter than seven years may result in fans noticing the rehashing, and calling the promotion on the re-use; after that, a few diehard, longtime fans may notice and become upset, but generally everybody will accept the product as new.
But I think the WWE has changed it to the "Seven Month Rule". But, As the theory goes, any wait shorter than seven years may result in fans noticing the rehashing, and calling the promotion on the re-use; ...most of the "E" fans are such marks, they could care less.
And this isn't even from a "E" basher. I haven't really enjoyed wrestling for a while, probably because there is no longer competition.

Well, let's see...
When was MVP/Matt Hardy? That's the most recent one I can recall. I guess that was over seven months, since they lost the belts to Miz/Morrison prior to the Rumble (and Matt's appendicitis). Cutting it kinda close, though.

I thought Adamle did great, and I like the way as he's being portrayed as a guy that just wants to do as good of a job as he can rather than the "evil authority figure" that's been beaten to death already.
I went to bed at 10:45 last night, not even bothering to watch the main event because I just knew Cena & Batista would win the belts. Too bad because I was really digging Rhodes & DiBiase as champs. More young talent squashed for no good reason.

I actually liked the Matt Hardy/MVP angle.. but, yeah, to do it again is stupid...
I'm hoping it's going to go in some other direction.

Adamle was better than I thought. If this translates into a break from the typical villainous GM rehash, then I'm all for it.
As for Cena/Batista -- my God, what an f-ing stupid pile of crap. Cena/Michaels, Hardy/MVP.....are they completely devoid of creativity? I realize they rushed this Cena-Batista feud and it's not at all well set-up, so they have to invent some sort of interplay between the two....
They had a good thing going with DiBiase/Rhodes, in what is otherwise a serious low point in the history of tag team wrestling. Now they once again stomp on the up and comers just to do some lame push of already established guys. Pointless.
