Man. I am a huge Rampage fan but I have to admit I had Forrest winning that fight. I can see anyone arguing for either side though. Here's my thoughts...I think Forrest outscored Rampage but didn't beat him up (save the awesome leg kicks). It seemed Forrest was landing more often and accurately but when Rampage hit, he hit hard. Forrest had to back up. So I guess it comes down to what matters more: Significant damage or Frequency and accuracy? I was rooting for Rampage but in my eyes Forrest stole the win fair and square.

I was with a group last night that was mostly rooting for Rampage, but we all agreed that Forrest won. It all came down to who won that third round. For me Rampage won 1 and 4 10-9, Forrest won 2 10-8 and 3 and 5 10-9. But the third round could've gone Rampage's way, too. Honestly, it almost could've been a draw, but that would only have antagonized the crowd.
Anyone else think that Lytle fight should've been halted at least temporarily in the second round? God, he was bleeding like a stuck pig.

Lytle was moving, unimpeded by his cut. I am not a bloodthristy guy, but that was a good call by the ref to not call it.
Rampage Forrest... I dunno. I would need top see rounds 1,3 and 4 again. I know Forrest easily won 2 and he took 5. I argee that Forrest pushed the action more than Page, and for this was given the rounds, but if we look at effectiveness, Rampage staggered and dropped Forrest with the exception of Forrest's leg kicks, which were not landed in the last three rounds.
I really wish I understood the criterion better.

I didn't necessarily mean the Lytle match should have been over. I just mean stop it for a minute to get him cleaned up and start them in the same position. But that's just probably the Pride guy in me.

Well I like Lytle but this is why I think they should have stopped the fight.
He was bleeding all over and he had little to no hope of winning the fight because Kos decided not to take him down and his subs weren't working well that evening.
I don't like the idea of a fighter needlessly suffering.

Meh this www.fightline.com/news/2008/727/quinton_rampage_jackson_333874.shtml Rampage thinks he’s God…He had a falling out with his trainer a couple of days before the first arrest. Basically he has lost his mind and is talking very religious and is saying that he is God. This is the main thing I wanted to keep hidden, but with the second arrest and Dana talking it will come out regardless. He needs some serious help. I don’t know if you would call it schizophrenia or bipolar disorder or what have you, but whatever it is, basically it’s become impossible to have a conversation with him. He is delusional. I mean it's not like I love to rub it in (B.S.) I do feel a little bad for Dana, but that's what he gets for cantering to the hard core smarks instead of his business sense. He should have passed on Rampage to begin with. Lets look at this likeable marketable fighter nonsense got him. Rampage and Tito.
