Anyone tried this pairing out?
They've given me two CLASSIC main events in a row, the first one ending twice, once in Hadrian's favor but Jesterelli got the match restarted, and then Dante squeaked out the win.
Well, that was at CPC's Last Man Standing (Dante's the champ, Hadrian's #10 in the top 10, but Raze was suspended and the other 8 guys were competing in the Last Man Standing competition).
Since there was so much controversy, I had a rematch that saw Hadrian nearly kill Dante with no les than FIVE HADRIAN'S WALLS...only to have Dante keep kicking out until he rolled out of the way of a deathjump to score the pin.
If you haven't paired these two off, give 'em a try...they've had GREAT chemistry for me.

I'm all for great match ups Tommy, so may indeed give this a try. Remind me, just 'cause I'm too darn lazy to dig out the CPC handbook for the year with Hadrian...what is that finisher exactly?
Also, just for grins, do you play the official rules in that if he has a (singles) finisher listed along with a tag finisher, in tag matches his singles finisher can't be utilized? Or do you allow them to utilize both finishers in tag competition? I've always thought it made sense that if a wrestler had a singles finisher, he wouldn't just tuck it away just because he was wrestling in tag competition. Now, that does make teams like Darwins Legacy pretty darn tough, but so be it I guess.
I have Darwin's Legacy debuting as rookies right now, in the developmental territory owned by the GWF, that being the GWFZ (thought this was one of Tom's truly inspired ideas...gives me a "second" fed, while truly still being one fed, with less bookeeping...can develop wrestlers before they hit the big time...huzzah for Tom!). They have been really tough to defeat.
Currently, the GWFZ functions as a one-planet territory of the GWF, that being Mars, and its top title is the Deimos Wrestling Championship. When a wrestler or team earns a shot at the big time, they then join the touring roster of the GWF. Darwins Legacy is really getting close to earning that shot!

If their singles finisher is specifically listed a singles one, I tend to not have them use it in the tag matches, myself...and Hadrian's Wall is basically a big Stinger Splash.
I'm wondering if WHILE ROME BURNS and HADRIANS WALL aren't the reason Darwin's Legacy are soooo tough, actually...they do alright in my fed, but tend to hang around #5 or so...whereas the duos of Jack of Diamonds & Killer Queen and Prince Zed & Excalibur are my top tag teams, with most everyone else fighting for third.
I liked the GWFZ idea, but since I follow the storylines so close, I don't know if I'll ever actually use it...that, and I'm already running two GWFs (one in 2077 and one in 2118), one CPC, one LWF and one aCe...and I'm working on a new bootleg fed...=)

Tommy, thanks for the info. Good luck on that bootleg fed by the way, be sure to post and let us know what's happening. Your fed results are equally as entertaining as your reviews!
Will you create stables/teams, a la Mr. F's GWF? Over the years, I think I've really grown to appreciate that system, if you will, of booking. Whenever I create a fed, I now pay close attention to the stables I create. It really does give every wrestler a part to play.
Thanks again sir.

That's the early plan, yeah...Tom's made me a believer in the "super team" style of booking, which is also evident in my LWF.
I'll be sure to fire some updates along as I get closer...I've had a few aborted bootleg feds, and I'm hoping this one actually works out for me...=)

I plan on trying out Dante vs Hadrian soon. I've wanted to try Legacy in singles sometimes.
