Both provided hours of action, but you can only pick one.And just think, they actually had a figure of Klinger in drag!!!! Can they top G.I. Joe!?!? This is extremely tough!

For a minute there I misread M*A*S*H as "M.A.S.K."...

For a minute there I misread M*A*S*H as "M.A.S.K."... That was one of those cartoons that seemed awesome when I was 11, but looking back... well, let's be kind and say that it hasn't aged well.

Yeah, I'm always wondered about that too... such a think could never happen today.. there's no mixing of companies, sadly.

The Mego Company made tons of superhero figures and also figures from movies and television like Planet Of The Apes and Star Trek. I'm sure someof these would be worth money if I still had them

That's before my time... but its got some cool accessories, for sure. Interesting in that Matt Mason and Captain Action came out the same year. Mason actually had a 'rocket sled'...think of the Avengers 'Skycycle"...you would attach an end of a line from the sled to an object (table leg, etc.)...and you could pull the sled up the line into the air...pretty cool. Well, both of them are before my time, really. For whatever reason, Captain Action is a staple in the Comic shops 'round here.
I've seen those Star Trek Mego guys.. I remember thinking they were very much like Barbies for boys more than the 'action figures' of today.
