This poll is for the types of songs that you've heard so many times you hope to never hear them again. My pick for the most over played would have to be Stairway To Heaven

I'll vote Hotel California. Mainly because I still like Stairway to Heaven a lot even though I've heard it more times than my own farts.
(Whoa, too much information...)

Gotta go with Turn The Page. I don't think I've ever run a karaoke night in a bar without someone singing it. I despise it.
"Slow Ride" by Foghat should've been on the list too.

Friends in low places is played too much on the country music scene.

Went with The Eagles, but I would include "Sweet Home Alabama" from my own experience. Being from New Orleans but living in Georgia, I drive through Alabama a lot in my journeys home, and it seems that this song is on at least two stations at all times in Alabama.
I often open the windows and just scream as we barrel down the highway.
Edit - D'oh, I didn't even see the "Other" option. I change my vote to "Other."

With the exception of "Friends in Low Places", why are all of these Rock songs? Because they're classically and continually overplayed whereas most overplayed Pop songs flare up once and then die a merciful death (hopefully)?
Because I'd listen to just about any one of these over the likes of, say, "My Heart Will Go On."

I voted for other cause I mostly listen to a alternative nu-rock station most of the time. I would say for overplayed I pick anything Miley Cyrus makes. Cause dammit I hear her everywhere. Also I opt for Achy Breaky Heart from Billy Ray Cyrus in the poll.
Chris : The only reason I don't hate that song is because I own a techno remix of the song that Brian Kendrick (cause his name is Spanky Leonardo cause he looks like Dicaprio) uses as a theme in Japan.
