Mayhem has always been an insane blood worshiper. I was having a hard time picturing fighting under structured rules. He doesn't care about winning he cares about banging heads. I figure VALE TUDO=Heavy Metal/harcore. Headbangers like some of the more insane gladiators would not fight under certain "weak" rules( no headbutts/downword elbow strikes/stomps? Screaw this!). Those guys would be worse then the Gracies with special "no" rules MMA matches( NHB). I mean... Mayhem fighting in our era of the UFC? Yeah right... he'd be in Vale Tudo all the way fighting bare knuckle bashing his head into peoples faces repeatively and looking to leap of doom them on the way out when they are getting streacher out of the ring/cage. ;D (Mayhem needs some repeated headbutts and stomps) Plus... how will they be able to wear face paint in any other place then some human chicken fighting pen in a future Brazilian-esque melting pot of human degeneration? I agree with you Duce Mayhem was the very first fighter I made for this system & if you look at guys like Blazing Skull (throat chop) who came later, I have started to put more personality into the fighters. Sectarian has the most personality so far I think. I will be doing several updates to the cards: Thock (Add 1 removed), Sectarian (clean up L3O). I can just add in some changes to Mayhem too. Thanks for the feedback. It is much appreciated.

Daemon had his chance in the CPC. Now it is time for his former partner to shine in the POW:

Hey bro, you know I love your cards they are amazing but I just wanted to say I think Kulak is not right. I think ( IMO ) he should be a striker supreme and not so good a ground fighter. After all Kulak means fist in Russian ( I think that's what mark said ). I can't do what you're doing so wonderfully so I feel stupid for criticizing you but that's just my two cents. Kulak = striker supreme IMO

Howabout Chaos... I was going to do him, KO Keller, Billy Jo Boxer, Iron Mane, Terminus, and the Mercenaries but at your rate of work maybe you should do them for us! =)

Kulak = striker supreme IMO Bro, your comments are always welcome..for good or ill. Like Turkish said, I pictured him more like shorter, more bulky, Andrei "The Pitbull" Arlovski. A hybrid sambo fighter who is a good striker & a very good grappler. Instead of breaking into pieces with his fists, he would rather grind you into bits... I dont know if I succeeded in what I attempted, Turkish could probably say better than I if I hit the mark I was aiming for or not. Thats just how I saw Kulak...even though his name does mean "Fist" in Russian.

I will put Chaos up next & Turkish already did an AWESOME Terminus...check him out in another thread..its worth it...Turkish did a great job..Iron Mane I hadn't considered..what kind of fighter did you have in mind for him to be?

sambo is the top martial art in russia right now. Unless I am mistaken (Turkish help me out if you don't mind) Sambo is considered a form of wrestling. That is why I made Kulak a very good grappler...an easy transition from wrestling...I suppose he could develop into more of a striker as his career grows & his knowledge base expands..*considers this*

It uses leg locks, arm lock and no chokes. It is a very popular sport in Russia.

to add on to Turkish's comments
Although it was originally a single system, there are now five generally recognized styles of Sambo:
* Sport Sambo (Borba Sambo) is stylistically similar to amateur wrestling or Judo. The competition is similar to Judo, but with some differences in rules, protocol, and uniform. For example, in contrast with Judo, Sambo allows all types of leg locks, while not allowing chokeholds.[3] * Self-defense Sambo, which is similar to Aikijutsu, jujutsu or Aikido, and is based on self-defense application, such as defending against attacks by both armed and unarmed attackers. Many practitioners consider Self-Defense Sambo as part of Combat Sambo and not a system unto itself. * Combat Sambo (Russian: Боевое Самбо, Boyevoye Sambo). Utilized and developed for the military, this is arguably the root of Sambo as it is now known, and includes practice with weapons and disarming techniques. Competition in combat sambo resembles older forms of judo and modern mixed martial arts, including extensive forms of striking and grappling. The first FIAS World Sambo Championships were held in 2001. * Special Sambo - developed for Army Special Forces and Rapid Reaction Police (Militsija) teams and other law enforcement formations. The "Special Sambo" version differ from team to team due to different tasks and aims, however the base of any special system developed in that field is of course Sambo. The term "Special Sambo" is a relatively new term which refers to specialized versions of combat sambo. * Freestyle Sambo - Uniquely American Set of competitive sambo rules created by the American Sambo Association (ASA) in 2004. These rules differ from traditional sport sambo in that they allow choke holds and other submissions from combat sambo that are not permitted in sport sambo. Freestyle Sambo, like all sambo, focuses on throwing skill and fast ground work. No strikes are permitted in Freestyle Sambo. The ASA created this rule set in order to encourage non-sambo practitioners from judo and jujutsu to participate in sambo events.
