In my opinion, this will shape up to be one of the more lopsided Super Bowls. Anyone here who sees it differently?

I agree completely. I think the Pats score in the 40s and the Giants in the 10s.

I agree. I just don't see the Giants competing with them. And, unlike last night in the minutes following the game, this isn't disgruntled, sore loser Aquinas talking

My feelings on this matter are well documented. BDS, seriously, stop being obsessed about the Patriots.

I've got two more weeks I'm allowed to be obsessed with them. Then I'll congratulate them on closing out the best season in NFL history and tell their fans to enjoy it. Or I'll laugh the laugh of a thousand victories, either one.
Having them back as Goliath to be slain next year would probably make the upcoming NFL season more fun than this last one was for me, honestly, as much as it pains me to say it. Football has been the most fun for me when they've been a strong nemesis for my Colts. I'm probably rooting for them in places my subconscious refuses to let me acknowledge for fear my brain will shut down upon revelation of such horrible truths.
That said, Giants win by 25 when Michael Strahan breaks Tom Brady's back on the Pats first offensive snap.

I can't begrudge you your obsession with the Pats....every baseball season, putting my Brewer fandom aside, my #1 enjoyment is watching the Yankees blow it in the post-season. I hates them.

That said, Giants win by 25 when Michael Strahan breaks Tom Brady's back on the Pats first offensive snap. I've been praying for that for the whole year. A guy in my fantasy pool kept winning solely based on Brady. Every week he was listed "Questionable with Rt shoulder Injury" It hurt because every time he touched the ball, he threw it 50 yards at 400mph. Of course that would start to sting. To get back on topic, Patriots 42, NYG 3

I don't actually want Brady to get hurt, of course. It's just the only real chance the Giants stand, that's all.

I don't really understand why, but the man's a football genius, so who am I to argue.

BDS, take it from someone who has hated the Yankees for years. Any fan who says he's a fan of the Not the Patriots is at heart truly a Patriots fan.
Trust me, even if it doesn't sound like it makes sense, it does.

Well...not luck...some skill...but it helps when your opponent's defensive plays are scouted and conveyed to the head coach...bitter grumblings...Go Iggles!

Good luck to both teams...

Boston and New York in a sports championship again...
I can see why some would have no interest.

I say Pats by 13 or less.
I really think NY will make a game of it.
NY has a good D-line -- if they can get some pressure on Brady, they'll be in it. I do worry about the Giants safeties. I don't think they can keep up with Moss and the Pats WR's.
If NY runs the ball effectively and Eli continues his mistake free play, it'll be a 2 score game at most.
The Patriots are too good at the skill positions and I think Burress will be overmatched by the NE secondary.
My prediction:
Pats - 31 Giants - 20

My prediction: Pats - 31 Giants - 20 That seems like a pretty good guess. On the way home from work, I stopped at a locals casino to pick up some dinner and I saw that the local line for the Super Bowl is currently New England at -12.

I keep thinking 34-21 will be the score so I will stick with that.
