Hey Bazzy...was the NFL game going head-to-head with the Arsenal vs. Liverpool match or did they delay the NFL game so it would be the only sporting event on TV at that time? The Arsenal vs. Liverpool match was great...would have been better if Cesc's strike went in instead of hitting woodwork...but i am sure Arsene and the Gunners will take the away point and keep their unbeaten streak going.

I think London had a team in NFL Europe which just closed down last year. So what makes you think there's enough support in england to support more than the occassional NFL game?

London couldn't support an NFL Europe team. It would cost quite a bit for a team to play over there plus it would be a nightmare for schedules. I think they'll do the occasional game, but I don't suspect they'll ever really put a team in a country that's not Canada.

I think Canada has some sort of legislation or something that would block the expansion of the NFL into their borders. Gotta protect the CFL somehow, even though they tried to expand into our borders at one time.
