I wouldn't be surprised to see Bonds go to the American League as a DH. I agree that the Tigers are a good destination for Bonds. And, because of his ties to the Bay Area and to southern California, I've also heard rumors about him possibly going to Oakland or to the Angels.

You gotta think he's headed to the AL so he can DH. Since he'll command a fortune, I'll give the nod to the Yankees, but the Angels or A's wouldn't surprise me at all.

I figure he'll head either to the Cubs(as they like HR hitting juicers), or either, LAA, LAD, or OAK.

You heard it here first. Barry Bonds will sign with the Seattle Mariners.

Since him going to Hell isn't an option, I'll pick the next thing to it -- the Yankees.

Other. You heard it here first. Barry Bonds will sign with the Seattle Mariners. This is at least a possibility. I once read an article online in the Seattle Times during a Giants-Mariners series in Seattle (I think it was a couple of years ago) where Bonds mentioned he liked Seattle which in many ways is a northern version of San Francisco and that he would be willing to talk to the Mariners if they wanted if he became a free agent in the future. But I think the Mariners first priority should be to get some more starting pitchers to go with King Felix- what a collapse the Ms had at the end of this year.

He's going to want to play for a contender; and maybe stay out west. I'll say the Angels.

nope hes gonna play for the mets. Blah! I hope not. I don't think he's coming back. If he somehow does he will be in the AL. I doubt the Yanks or Sox. Mariners sound pretty plausible.
