So who will win this important NL central series? I'll go with a split allowing the Brewers to take over first.

Cubs take 3 games. They lined up their pitching last week to give them the best chance to win. I expect them to lose one in the doubleheader today and nothing else. The Cards get eliminated from contention, and the Brewers continue to suck in second place.
Playoffs ahoy!

I think BDS is pretty on point. I say 3-1.

To each his own. unfortunately it's going to be difficult for the Brewers to catch Cubs. They have 4 games against both Atlanta and San Diego, as well as 3 against St. Louis while the Cubs plays Cincinnati, Florida, and Pittsburgh after the Cards.

Being right is awesome! I need to start sending Mr. Vegas some money to make some proxy bets for me. unfortunately it's going to be difficult for the Brewers to catch Cubs. Unfortunate for who? The five Brewers fans? Drunky McHavoc and the rest of the southsiders? The Cubs getting into the playoffs is a good thing for baseball, and that's a fact that can be verified by ratings data every decade or so. ;D

Only because people just have to see what manner of choking the Cubs will conjure up year to year. Blaming poor Bartman....blowing 7-run leads.....I'll admit that the horrific train wreck that is the Cubs is something that naturally WOULD attract attention. Being right is awesome!
