I am always outnumbered when I ask this in my fantasy baseball league, even among those who play fantasy football. For me football is far superior. I like the shorter season and fewer games, which make it much more exciting in my eyes.

So, does no one care, or is no one seeing this???
Subboards suck IMO.

I've never truly given fantasy baseball a serious shot, but it's hard to top fantasy football. Less (and more meaningful) games....it's more structured....I just find it all around more manageable and fun. The baseball season's so damn long -- fantasy baseball just becomes more of a hassle.

Fantasy football, hands down, because individual stats don't matter in football, which is the ultimate team sport. I can have LT on my fantasy football team. If they play the Colts and LT rushes for 200 and 3 TDs, the Colts could still win that game. A few timely turnovers here and there and the game is mine. So I can have rooting interests all over the league without feeling like I'm betraying my team. With baseball, though, the individual success of a player is much more contributive to his team's performance than in football, and if Barry Zito has a good start in a game against the Cubs, then my beloved Cubbies probably lost that game. Or if my rival has Carlos Zambrano on his team and he throws a shutout, that's not good for me in the fantasy standings. I don't like being conflicted like that.

I've done both and succeeded at both, but baseball is way too involved, with players sitting out, pitching rotations, etc, its more of a chore then fun. Football on the other hand only needs to be updated once a week, is only 16 games, which makes each game important and doesn't take as much time to know the players and rosters. Football is the only fantasy sport that truly matters currently.
